the 19th it's the night scotland are playing the second leg of their playoff match though. i guess we could start the gig at 10 oclock, after the match. which i assume kicks off at 7.30. unless anyone knows different...

the fudgefrenzy gig at drakes on sat 8th nov has been switched to wed 19th to allow a metal hammer tour to roll into town. we're too nice. it'll be the first night we return to our familliar and much loved Battle Of The Bands concept. That's what it really is in effect of course, but it's only rarely that anymore gets upset in practice. which is suprising considering the egos involved. the best band on the night, but the judgement of fudge in the usual shambolic manner, will get to play fudgenight a couple of months later. and by hell they'd better be good when they get there. FUDGEFRENZY: ready to chew up more local bands from the convayor-belt of mediocrity, and spit the occasional glistening cherry onto the stage of the world famous circus of depravity, Fudgenight. so, who do we have for you? so far: KAIN from glasgow. apparently they're rather good and will be playing with the libertines later this year. THE HEXAGONAL PENSIONERS - will have to let me know if they can play this date instead of the saturday. ORWELL -waiting to hear from them... which leaves a spare slot for anyone who'd like to play at the lemon tree............. at least you'll have a chance...
