can't get enough of "eyesore". they played that on northsound once, the one time they lived up to their promise of "more of the songs you love".

I was recently made aware that I look like Republican Baby-maker, Levi Johnston.
Tasteful.

my boss won two weekend tickets. he doesn't want them and is trying to sell them, proceeds going to charity.
no one seems to be wanting to bid. he'd probably sell them for cheap.
if anyone on here is interested, pm me for details.

Alright folks,
I've only recently returned to the area after about 3 years away, so I'm not that up to speed with what's going on. What I can do though is recommend a couple of bands that supported the successful Lucid Dream gig the other week.
The Carousels are followers of country music and The Byrds etc. Their three piece harmonies and Rickenbacker sound were really really good. Check out their new single here:
Call Along The Coast by thecarousels on SoundCloud - Create, record and share your sounds for free
Also, check out His Name Is Codeine, who arguably stole the show at The Lucid Dream gig. Mega praise was heaped their way and rightly so. Intense, dark, menacing sound. Think The Black Angels with a female vocalist. They've really stepped up their game. Unbelievably good. Check them out here:

Keith's obviously nae just got Chivas Regal to be proud of...!!
Cheers
i think all the local bands i like have been mentioned. except pre-teens. and dolfinz, come to think of it.
i'd not heard the two acts mentioned above until reading that post but my first impressions of both are v positive.

i "got 19 out of 27 in 4:19"
i think it helped that most of the answers concerned episodes from the first 10 years of the show
-
i'd wear that.
-
Pavement, ahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
used to have the opening 40 seconds of this - double-speed/pitch and fucking LOUD - as my voicemail greeting back in the day. good job no one ever calls.

the thing i love about the jools ATD-I clip is that it encapsulates the band members' future work perfectly. the three dudes from sparta trying to play steadily and hold the song together whilst omar and cedric from the mars volta just go tits.
the best tv performance is probably
, however. -
carson wells and pensioner were dead good.
bought a copy of the record cos the songs i've heard live are ace. haven't listened to it yet cos it's too late for loud music but it smells delectable.
