Metallica at Download 2006 was the second best performance I've seen in my life
-
FFS, I'm glad the FM was broken on my radio at work and had to listen to the Hearts game instead. Disgrace!
-
It's quite good. If I'm being honest, some of the new stuff I've heard doesn't sound as good (although still good). I just hope they don't become too polished sounding, though I do think Because of the Times is their best album
-
Cheers for the replies guys and girls, I'll check out some of these agencies tomorrow.
(Oh and my hair no longer past my shoulders )
-
Anyone know of any going or any recruitment agencies. In particular just any mechanical engineer position?
In 3 months I've applied to about 10 places - rejected by 1, 3 have vacancies already full, 1 interview I haven't heard back from in 3 weeks and the rest didn't bother to reply. Beginning to think what was the point in getting a degree
-
If it was a VR6 and free then I would of had it
-
Hopefully it's a load of crap. Drummonds is a great venue imo
-
Oh the Rangers are shite. Lol at least Celtic are more exciting
-
My Dad's pleased I found it, he loved it too lol
-
I just dug out the This Is Not An Exit EP and it's brilliant
-
I miss Dr Drakes
-
I've pre-ordered it. Thought St Anger was ok, although it was a terrible album (contradiction?)
-
good, downloading music is for dicks.
Depends in what way it is Downloaded. If you pay for downloads you are a fool imo
-
Where's your music Mouse, and how many of those guitars belong to your dad?
show us a photo of those 100mm plectrums too please.
Not got a band at the moment and all of them belong to me actually 8-)
-
I don't give a toss what brand of leads or plectrums anyone is using, letalone the finer details of their guitar strap, and frankly anyone who feels the need to mention such things, especially someone who doesn't record or perform, in their list of gear is obviously a complete twunt.
I don't care what keyboard you use to make your shitey dance music

Confirmation of date? If there are the guys I saw around 5 years ago they are fucking fantastic

Can't be arsed putting up pics but...
Guitars
2000 Yamaha Pacifica 112 - modded with DiMarzio X2N humbucker and wilkinson trem (my baby and first electric)
2005 Yamaha Pacifica 812V - top of the range pacifica - beautifully made and very versatile - a lot of guitar for the money
1991 Yamaha Pacifica 1221 - got this rare gem off ebay for only 300, and its yellow!
2004 Fender Mexican Telecaster - with hotrail, great tone for a cheap guitar and my favourite for just picking up and playing
2007 Fender American Deluxe Telecaster - my best guitar, always clean it before putting it away, love it
2001 Gibson Les Paul Gothic - standard and black as the night, though sadly my least favourite
Also have a top of the range Yamaha classical CG201S and a Hohner classical which is knackered
Ampage
Marshall AVT-100
Marshall MS-2 Mini Amp (Vintage)
Other shit
Planet Wave leads
Levys guitar straps
Jim Dunlop Crybaby Wah
Danelectro Free Speech talk box (not really used, anyone want to buy it?)
Jim Dunlop nylon plectrums (60 - 100mm)
Ernie Ball strings
GHS Fast Fret
I want...
Fender David Gilmour signature Strat
Guitar Synth

Bloc Party > Sex Pistols

Good to see Narrow Stairs getting a mention. New Albert Hammond Jr album is fantastic too, though you could say its the second half of the year
-
I don't see why people moaned about it in the late 70's - compared to todays "disco" music it was very talented and catchy. Now all we get is ned beats and crap like the Pussycat Dolls *throws up*
-
LOL that is actually amazing
-
Seagulls are just filthy greedy cunts who shit all over my car
I totally nailed one on belmont street last night when I was drunk
-
Just one or two? TITP is a ned fest
-
There was a giant one-legged seagull in my garden yesterday.
Swallowing large parts of chicken carcass whole.
There is a one legged seagul that now waits until we throw out scraps of food onto our garage roof. It isn't actually one legged, it just stands that way

Same guitar Adrian Smith used in the early 80's, awesome!
