  1. how cool is this?!?!? http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Towers/2402/vltone/liwaco.htm
  2. http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Towers/2402/vltone/ i love the illustrations.
  3. all i need now is to figure out how to fix casio vl 1's and i'll have the monopoly on all you shits! you'll be knocking on my door 24/7, begging me to fix your dead white boxes. but this is just a dream my vl 1 is in a not very good way. it doesnt do the beeps anymore. although i am quite attracted to that mass of crackle i get when i adjust the volume and mix.
  4. i think prog punk actually exists. but emo-idm! now thats something id like to hear!
  5. sounds a lot like hookers green. but instead of rob karloff we have mikey "put the ssss in sexuality" subsisty.
  6. i have one too. and it will be featuring at the next few hookers green gigs. if only all keyboards came with those 2 melody sequencer tap buttons!
  7. music is repeating, and people are getting bored with genres of music. so what is everyones ideal concepts for new and different bands/music? what do you think would be cool or funny to hear/see?
  8. i use the kind found on the floor at gigs, practice rooms and down the backs of friends sofas. but i only use the kind that are not wafer thin and rigid thick. i dont know the brand names because the print has usually worn off. i used to like sharkfins, but the pictures would sometimes catch on my high e.
  9. yeah! bug neil for it. i dont think id be able to e-mail it because i have a pretty slow connection.
  10. ummm.... how do you want me to send it? i think it should be going up on the hookers website...although that may never actually happen.. y'know how it is but yeah id like you to inspect it.
  11. hey, you just have to ask and you can get a free 3 track hg1 cd. ive remixed a hookers green song, and it was kinda mock idm. it turned out pretty good. id like to get into remixing more stuff. i dont really write that much music right now. i spent the first half of this year writing and recording in the mornings. and then by july i had decided that it was a complete waste of time and it was really shit. although im doing this new wave thing which'l keep me busy. id quite like to go into depth in the production side of things. and i think i may be working with dedalus at some point too.
  12. best drummer is without a doubt is le wazzak(aka 'n style'). actually, with doubt. i think allan bain is creeping up on wazzak for the title. and since wazzak is moving away, is he loosing it? they have quite similar styles/influences and i think its pretty hard to choose between them. best bassist(not really local any more) is matt e. boy. and umm...most guitarists in aberdeen are pretty abysmal and i would maybe say jimmy 'emo boy' johnson as a defalt. but i think future galloway is probably the best. but why must it stop at drums, bass and guitar? what about best vocalist? (not performer, VOCALIST!) or best synth dude? or best all round "musician"?
  13. so what sorta stuff are you doing?
  14. yeah he's a jazz guitarist. george is the man. although the record i have is more soul. its kinda like the softer michael jackson stuff. i guess he's not so obscure if he's being advertised by woolworths?
  15. "yes and im presently in the process of inventing said band" well if you need a M.A.R.T then say yo! as for george benson. i just bought 'in your eyes' on 12" as an impulse buy at one up as it was only 50p. id never heard of him before and later found out he'd just played glasgow the day before. and now he has adverts on tv, its pretty wierd. but yeah its a great album, really sexy stuff. ive just won some more benson stuff on ebay. and i just bought a starship album for 50p and thrs not a bad song on the record.
  16. does anyone like new wave and want to invent a band?
