tbh 400 is quite a good price for that i suppose. still, it is def not a flexible amp
It's pretty flexible...played many styles of music with it and it's pulled them all off well. Has really good head room and always provides strong clean sounds. Doesn't do AMEG growl without the aid of a distortion pedal..but hey...what does...

"monitors" are speakers designed to have a flat, uncoloured frequency response for the purposes of mixing and mastering tracks. Active monitors are powered speakers that contain their own amplifier and can be plugged straight into your mixer or audio-interface outputs.
The alesis m1 mk2 (200 quid new) is a bit outdated and has been superceded by a new family of alesis active monitors, the original is considered by a lot of people to have a coloured bass response and I wouldn't recommend them for any serious mixing purposes.

Ashdown MAG Bass Rig
Introduction
Over 700 worth of amplification and accesories for sale at 400. Every item is in great A+ condition. The amp works fantastically and sounds great. It is very versatile.
Good oppertunity here to get a hold of a complete rig with some great accesories. It is the perfect amp for the bassist who needs something strong and reliable to take to gigs or on the road.
Condition
It has been gigged a couple of times but is always taken care of. It arrives in the rack and vinyl cover and is always unloaded by myself.
Reason for Sale
I need the money to fund my car as it needs a new Quaife differential. I don't really want to part with the amplifier but needs must.

Flightcase Ware House Rack
Cost 110 when new.
3U Rack with front & back rails. Front and rear pannels are removeable and come with strong locks. There is one heavy duty carry handle. The amplifier takes up two spaces, the third is taken up by a dummy vent. This was 10 new.
Ashdown Vinyl Cabinet Cover
Cost 35.00 when new.
Always used when the amplifer has been moved or left standing. Only comes off when it is time to play.

Only one big handle on the case...so doesn't really "knuckle fuck" as you are either carrying it vertically or high enough on your body your knuckles don't come in contact.
It feels like a sturdy case that's for sure!

3U Rack Flight Case from: Flightcase Warehouse
I bought this case a couple of years ago. It hasn't been on the road and has spent most of its time in my bedroom or at my bands practice space. It has been to 1 or 2 gigs in Aberdeen.
It has a 1U vent at the top which was added at additional cost. I believe it has rear racking as well so items can be added both ways or they can have rear support. I will check this as I am not 100% sure. I will also get box depth dimensions if anyone wishes to know.
Condition:
Excellent condition. As I said before it has only been to 1 or 2 gigs. I use it so little I can afford to have my amp sitting outside a rack case now.
Cost New:
130 with the 1U vent, bolts and rear racking.

For sale I have my Warmoth Telecaster project. I've had this for a long time and I never find the time to get it all put together. I've got less and less time these days and an expensive car hobby (rebuilding cars = expensive!) So, I think it is time to get shot of some more items which are filling my room.
This morning I opened my wardrobe to look at all the items and to my disgust I found a massive chip in the body. The guitar has been sitting in its original packaging which is heavy duty cardboard. Someone (myself or someone else in the house) must have dropped something on the box and its really left its mark. For this reason the body will be significantly reduced in price.
I have grouped together some items to sell together...for example the neck will come with the tuners etc. I have also included individual prices on each item...although if I can sell a group I would rather do that.
