Cider of the week is Strongbow. It has a bittersweet flavor, evocative of long summery nights spent reminiscing in a field of juniper berries...err, fuck that shit, I recommend it because you can get 8 cans for a fivor in Iceland.Noise of the week is the "Anticomfort" compilation cassette, released in Belarus by one Alexander Vasilenko. This 90 minute tape has punk/HC/grind/noise bands from countries as far afield as Hungary, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Croatia, Sweden, Finland and Australia. It also has a Scottish band by the name of Spike Pile Driver! Yes indeed, this is a blatant plug for the next release by the Spike Boys. I will have copies for sale at the next Spike gig on the 6th, and a measly 1.50 gets you 90 minutes of mayhem. You want it and need it.I believe that's all for the momont.
