bitchesbrew
what impressions does evry1 get from the phrase 'modern jazz'.It gets used by non-jazzers sometimes in a very vague way...
Guest Neubeatz
It's all in the phrasing......Does the phrase have sort of text typo connotations? Like, er? evry1?

lepeep
jazz is like all types of music, you can have good jazz, and bad jazz.I think stereo types (like Jazz club (although funny) don't help.Mind you, motley crew were "metal" and so were carcass, so, it's all a matter of personal perspective.I like brubeck, Davis, Mingus, Hancock, Aderly...most of the greats, because they made good music...some freeform "skittry" jazz gets right up my nose...but, speaking to Neish from Eric Euan, I might just have to go check out some "free jazz"...it made him smile...so that can't be a bad thing...he he
