Has any folks seen em live ?Favourite albums (e.p's)?were they the orginators of so called 'noisecore' or were other bands of the time ie coalesce, drowning man, converge ect.? neilunderscorecooper Posted October 3, 2004 Report Share Posted October 3, 2004 they have a 5 track ep called this is meant to hurt you which we sell in my shop but i think its 13 quid, and they have a new album out on jade tree (cant remember what its called) but they have that in one up. i think 2 or 3 of botch are in the band.i have the ep on pink vinyl hehe! Burnt By The Sun are, in my opinion, picking up where Botch left off - totally off-kilter sounds that shouldn't be awesome but are.Go listen to Micaragua again - the buildup ALWAYS sends shivers down my spine. They were a truely great band but , in my opinion, no group comes close to Drowningman.These Arms Are Snakes are playing Glasgow soon (or have done recently).
