RossP
...if anyone in the old smoke would like to come.....@ Studio 24, Edinburgh4 at doorDoors 7pm (i think)Our new EP's and T-shirts will be available at this gigw/ Endorphine - With hints of Muse and Radiohead, Edinburgh's Endorphin have had their music identified as a blend of melodic pop, laced with thundering bass and vicious guitars. Originally formed as a 3 piece in 1999, Endorphin recruited Tris Turner on bass guitar, in the spring of 2004, to complete the line up. He joins Si Pollitt on vocals & guitar, Wes Sinclair on drums and Andy Colliar on lead guitar.LifeBlind - Glasgow's Life Blind are destined for the top having supported Static X at the Carling Academy in June of this year. Broadly speaking, the quartet are nu-metal - in the vein of Trust Company - and never fail to disappoint with their stage show. Frontman Kevin Miles offers a mix of melodic and screaming vocals backed up by Daniel Brown (guitar), Matthew Hadden (bass) and Gary "Skippy" Martin on drums to create catchy and memorable sound.Sonorous - From Dunfermline (Fife), Sonorous produce an eclectic mix of analogue-electronica loops and synths and contemporary melodic guitar rock. Harmonically they draw influences from bands such as Mogwai, Radiohead and Jeff Buckley with an electronic edge inspired by the likes of Aphex Twin, Autechre and Massive Attack.Tenesee Kait - Intense and uncompromisingly brutal, yet with the ability to show a side of themselves that is subdued, contemplative and quite beautiful to behold. These startlingly effective loud/soft dynamics have become the lynch-pin of the Tenesee Kait sound, their own individual brand of alternative rock which they continue to showcase to its full effect on their second single, Vaseline Smile (downloadable from their website).
