the_beastly_one
Can anyone point me towards some professional ones they know of? I know it's important to develop your own habits etc. but I'm looking for pointers to possibly model it on. Thanks.
Monk Rocker
I think the most important thing to think about is as long as you are having fun, keep on playing!!That goes for if you are a beginner or an advanced player. And try something new. More so for advanced players. Often you'll find your playing becomes stale, and you're not learning anything new. Go out and buy some music in a genre that you wouldn't normally listen to, and learn to play it. Then use the ideas you learn in what you've just learned in what you enjoy!!!There is no formula or specific method to practising. My personal opinion is if you are getting fed up playing waht you do, learn something you don't actually like. It'll open you're mind, but will make you a better player. If you like metal, learn to play some Blur!!!!Hope that is helpful......
