DRUM EYES (Upset The Rhythm)

A Brighton/London based collective arranged around Shigeru Ishihara (better known as DJ Scotch EGG), E-Da (Ex BOREDOMS and K-Power drummer. Drum Eyes combine dueling drums, cornets, keys and game boys to form a devastating live show. Their debut album dropped in September 2010 amidst feverish anticipation in the wake of members reputations and the bands devastation of audiences countrywide with their insatiable, mind expanding live performances including a set at Supersonic festival in 2009. Drum Eyes are a band who are impossible to pigeonhole in any category other than fantastic (but you can add Kraut, Motorik, Doom, Drone, Psych, Noise and experiMENTAL to the list as well).

PVH

North Easts favourite noise crew come back to Aberdeen to play a very rare live date. Always one of the more interesting bands you will find in a creepy dark place. Expect nothing more than a sonic & vitriolic blast of noise & Heinze trying to keep up with his red faced throat music that even the Mongolian throat singers wince at.

Matricarians are a loose collective of interesting improvisors who develop their live sound depending who they are playing along with.Led by Alan Davidson of Kitchen Cynics fame, The Matricarians take no prisoners & make lots of new friends along the way.
