Cloud
What version are you using?I'm using this - D-Fend Reloaded: Overview and it works nicely, though I've never tried to mount drives.

Cloud
Best bet then is to give that D-Fend Reloaded a shot, it makes life much, much, much easier.(mind you, I have no idea if it'll solve your problem...)Could you not just find a crack for the game to stop it from looking for the CD? The Milner
the problem is dos not the game. even if i get a cracked version it will require this programme to run it in dos mode and ill still have to mount drives for it, i think anyway. How the hell can it be so much trouble to run a 2.99 game on a 500 laptop. Captain America
What game is it?I have dosbox set up to automatically run cannon fodder and space crusade. Both are seperate dosboxes though, it's just easier that way.

Both are seperate dosboxes though, it's just easier that way.full throttle....basically this is what ive done so far:mount c c:\oldgames (which is the folder ive saved all the files off this disk on)then: cd throttle to change the directory then i installed the game and it says all i have to do is type THROTTLE to make it work but it says i need the cd.I have managed to get it to run off the cd by typing mount e e:\throttle but it crashes heaps so what i want to do is boot it straight off the harddrive so it doesnt need the cd at all but im a bit unsure how to mount my cd drive as a file on the harddrive. Cloud
Jesus, no, no, no. Don't bother with that - the thing I linked to makes it much, much easier. You can set individual preferences from within Windows (it's a front end, no need to mess about with command line options) and...well, it makes life much easier.
