Untitled Posted June 6, 2004 Report Share Posted June 6, 2004 STATIC-X were forced to cancel their appearance at the Download Festival on Saturday June 5 after their tour bus broke down in Germany. The following is the band's official statement on the matter:"We would like to send out a sincere apology for not being able to make the Download Festival today. We are stranded in the German countryside as our bus broke down late last night. We left the Rock Am Park Festival yesterday early, missing JUDAS PRIEST's set because of the long drive to the U.K. For 12 hours we were stuck in the bus along the side of a highway. Finally catching a ride to a local hotel in the middle of nowhere: Dernbach, Germany. For all our U.K. fans, we would like to express how bummed out we are at not being able to take the stage today. psydoll Posted June 6, 2004 Report Share Posted June 6, 2004 Well now I feel slightly better about missing Download as they're one of the bands I was most looking forward to seeing.Bummer for the people that did go to see them mind.
