Mine is an Inspiron that's around 2 years old as well so if it's a different number on the power supply if you know what the model of the Laptop is i can check if it works.Cheers min. Captain America
Sadly it is not at my Momma's house. However, I have a feeling that the only other place it might be is in a box at my new flat that I haven't unpacked. So I'll check that on Sunday night.

neepheid
Failing that, Maplin do general purpose laptop power supplies - switchable voltage and different plugs for a variety of laptops. Just make sure you get one with sufficient wattage.
Captain America
Yeah I appear to have permanently misplaced mine. You would have thought that I would have kept it with the laptop, but apparently not.
