These northeastern English grunge-pop enthusiasts gave us a great show last time, and now return touting a new album after chart hits and television appearances. Influences: The Who, The Beatles, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Black Crows, Bob Dylan, Soundgarden, Half Man Half Biscuit, Sons & Daughters, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Gomez and many more. Strong Like Ox are originally from Elgin but now have camps set up in Glasgow and Aberdeen. The band made their debut supporting Therapy? at The Ironworks, Inverness last August a gig that would see Kerrang! editor Paul Brannigan give them a KKKK review. Their track "Look Mum No Hands" was on the digital release of the Kerrang: New Breed CD along with the likes of Enter Shikari, Fallout Boy and Fightstar, most recently "Norwegian Machine Gunner" was picked by Radio 1 in Scotland for the 15 Seconds of Fame slot on Vic Galloway's show."Sterling support from local act Strong Like Ox whose Sigur Ros-meets-Slint post-rock is bewitching enough to lure all three members of the headline band to the side of the stage - Therapy? blow the roof off the place." KKKK Kerrang reviewCrimson Tide are a four-piece rock band from Sutherland in the North of Scotland. Their style has been described as switching between soft-gentle acoustics, to brutal, just under control distortion, with haunting vocals.Zero The Fool: Alternative power pop from new Aberdeen band. For the curious, who always ask these things, theres hints of Jeff Buckley, Nirvana and Eagles of Death Metal.

The Ghost Of Fudge
STRONG LIKE OX : "We have decided to call it a day and feel its fitting that we play our last out of town gig back where we played our first one - with Fudge. First one was at the old,old Exodus playing with Josephine, Gimp and someone else as Small Enclosed Area. You guys have always been great to us and we are full of love and very grateful for you giving us tons of gigs over the past 7 (fuck - 7!) years. Looking forward to it like a doner kebab after an all-day session!"
