They chose to stop posting tabs before a copyright infringement was placed upon them based on a statement from the RIAA.It's possible that they've now got a licence to distribute tabs, like Ultimate-guitar does, or they've decided to ignore the RIAA and quite rightfully claim that the tabs are the work and interpretation of listeners, and therefore not breaking any copyright laws. Or finally, it could be that the RIAA has seen sense and stopped their case against tabs, but I haven't heard anything about that.EDIT: I think it was the MPA, not the RIAA. 666 Posted March 13, 2006 Report Share Posted March 13, 2006 tbh, i only use mxtabs for my corporate rock tabs like Iron Maiden because i know most of them will be straight from the books. any indie label stuff i'd be more likely to tab myself...
