KarmaTsunami Posted March 4, 2004 Report Share Posted March 4, 2004 hmmm, it was alrightover all i thought the CD blowed though, maybe 4 good tracks on it, and even then i wasn't particulary enamoured with any of them. i liked the HIm cover of 'wicked game', but mostly because i really like the original version of it. the Amen track was pretty spot on though. scottST Posted March 6, 2004 Report Share Posted March 6, 2004 i find Cave In's cov er of Dazed and Confused to be fucking terrible.it depends on what u like, but the guy needs to put a bit more balls into his singing, in my opinion. it sounds like he's reading from an autocue, no soul or passion there.the instruments are played very well, tho. in that case its a pretty good cover. but the singing destroys it, in my opinion.rest of the cd aint exactly my taste either. Amen were the best new track on it, followed by The Icarus Line. More impressive is the recent Metal Hammer CD - new Killswitch Engage is genuinely ace, despite them sucking live - liked the cuts from Scarlet and God Forbid were no bad either. ....
