Guest tv tanned
If Cameron goes out in round two, then the Tories are goosed. Not a Tory supporter or sympathiser by any manner of means, but Fox and Davis are two complete disasters. They'd take the Tories further to the unelectable right than they currently are.
thestooge
Badly need a strong opposition.I would have liked Clarke as he would have brought the tories a little more to the left.Cant wait for Camerons tell all interview just before the final ballot - that will make or break him. framheim
i don't think anyone really cares if cameron's taken drugs. the only people that care are the press and they'll crucify him either way now if he answers the question on it. i'm sure there's a fair portion of mp's have taken drugs at some point in their lives. thestooge
They wont crusify him. He will easily survive this with a "when I was young and reckless, I was young and reckless" comment. Anyone over the age of 60 has experience of drugs, if not personal then within family and friends.Cameron can easily spin this in his favour - he is now a young man of the world, able to appeal to the yoof - thats why this debate started in the first place. If not he would just have said "no, drugs are bad" like everyone else and that would be the end of it.He is a total Tony clone and will make the conservative a challange to labour again - the only problem is that they will challenge for the same middle ground - Tony has already said, and I paraphrase, "when the tories arrive in the centre they will see we have already taken that ground and they will have a fight on their hands to claim it". In other words The Big Two will be battling for the same vote with similar policies...What the fuck do I care, I'm drunk now and this time in a fortnight I'll be in Japan.Goodnight. Scorge
David Cameron has already shown great aptitude at avoiding a question, he'll be a perfect Tory leader......
Knight of Swords
I don't really care now. If Clarke had won, the Tories would have won the next election. I think they're going to sit it out now and whoever the next Tory leader is, he won't be the next Tory Prime Minister.
