They can only be killed by a shot through the head.That fucked me off when watching LOTD because EVERYONE knows that, and they've been living with zombies for years and they still waste 100's of gun rounds shooting their chest and arms... tits. Also,6. Generic sections of society being zombified.In LOTD there was a mechanic, baseball player, lumberjack, bride, priest...Also it wasn't so much a zombie film as it was a film about boring people searching for a missing car. The characters were all so contrived, Dennis Hopper would rather kill his friend (pointless) and take two bags of cash with him (ultra-pointless) as he flees the city (most pointless) just to make him appear as a standard mindless bad-guy.
