lepeep Posted June 22, 2005 Report Share Posted June 22, 2005 fantastic, as ever, entertaining, funny, handsome and witty.he played a lot of new stuff (album out in a few weeks, recorded with tortoise, no less, sounds fecking great).all the old classics were re worked, as he does into different styles, wicked and wierd was a banjo workout, stella seemed to be even more slow and sad...only thing he didn't play, which I wished he had, was food. (gabba stylee, like at t in the park).anyway, I got the set list, but forgot to take it with me, and I also got my camera confiscated "press are only allowed to have a camera like that...." (meanwhile, some snotty nosed kid with a fucking 4 megapix sony jobber, right down the front shoving a camera right into richies face...bahhh).anyway, fantastic stuff, can't wait to hear this new lp.
