Ewan U.N.C.L.E.
Heres a not-exactly-an-artists impression of my "fantasy" set up. Ok so most of it is behringer' date=' but hey, I'm a realist, its like I don't aspire to own a porsche, I aspire to own an MR2 mkII cos I know one could be had for a grand on ebay. This is still a pricey set up though...[img']http://www.keilan303.demon.co.uk/control_room.jpg...if anyones particularly interested I will type up the specs.Hey Kielan, what kind of phone is it you've specced there? I'm thinking about getting a phone for my studio but I'm not really sure what I should get or how to integrate it. Does it go through the patchbay or something.cheers
threeornothing
Good question! Theres a BT phone which is actually called STUDIO so thats gotta be the one to go for! http://www.rocom.co.uk/top/phones/BT-Studio.htm. As for patching it in...its strictly for display purposes and gabbering away to yourself as an excuse to turn off the speakers of the shitty band you're recording....but you can get sorta like DI boxes for phones so you can get it through the control speakers and headphones for extreme hands free situations (eg. you need to hear the phone call at 300 watts)Failing that...this should suffice.... badger
Well I certainly wouldn't be purchasing anything that said Alesis or Behringer on it....Urei 1178's, Summit DCL 200's, Focusrite REd, DBX, KT DN504's, you get the idea. On second thoughts, I might even go for Quested tri- amped monitors....
