I'll be there, but they will have to be outstanding to top the german post rock bands i've seen in the last few days. And i cant find a single david hasslehoff cd here, gutted.

P.S Maxi- "Joy" is now my favourite word ever, i will explain why on sunday. Could be the most significant chance meeting i have ever had. oh the intrigue...........

It will definately be outstanding +++

We are selling tickets to Caribou + Kasule @ this event

Caribou's influences are moving toward Can & Neu with loads of sunshine

& two drummers.

AWOL dont rock' date=' they [i']perform

very enjoyable from the stuff i have heard

yes its about a year since they played live in Aberdeen, to me they have a fairly unique sound but the nearest I can mark them with is an improvised Movietone..........

They are very busy people recording with Alistair Roberts, Will Oldham, Scatter, Isobel Campbell, various American bands etc etc

Their line up on Sunday is going to be lovely & a surprise.

makes me think your band wants a record contract!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

seriously will that be duelling drums, one human , one electronic

if so can't wait.......

I hope Caribou's drummers don't take a shine to one of your drummers!!!

Sorry this is not a retro thread for music that was happening during 1976

& now appears to have a band of dilute copyists coming up with

right-on generic names of punk sub-genres.

At least you had the common decency not to post against our gig tonight.

Oh god, here we go, the age old punk debate.

We're not dilute copyists, our music has nothing to do with what was going on in 1976. Seriously absolutely nothing. But, I can't just say 'yeah and we're all really good music by the way'. Potayto potato you know? What would YOU call it?
