Sound on sound have great reviews.. The guy paul white is excellent on sound engineering matters
-
Totally agree when looking at reviews if they are peer reviews (should definitely be taken with a pinch of salt), a lot of the respected Magazine and Website reviewers know their stuff though and if they're testing properly will look at things like frequency response and in some cases will provide graphs and charts to expose any figures massaged by company selling the monitors. I like Sound on Sound for reviews personally but i'm sure there are other places out there that are helpful.

Its a tough one trying to do anything on the cheap. Recordings like a bug, the better you get at it the more you want to do and the better you want it to sound.. If you dont have the cash to go straight into say mackie monitors just go for mid range monitors that dont flatter the mix too much. I feel your pain tho, its tough finding great gear on a low budget.

On the management side what about good old steve paterson in the boot of a car and big dunc holding 'the can' of stella presumably lol wat a guy, during games on the phone finding out results to see if his bets were up.. Sunday amateur stuff haha love it!!

Some players are only fantastic at certain clubs obviously depending on the style of football the club plays.. Torres is still a fantastic player.. Id imagine if he went to athletico madrid again he would be flying.. Too much money in football and apart from anything else the huge price tags quite often kills players

Yes he was a great player, a cultured player but yes he often knew it too well and played like a midfielder even though for us he was a centre back.. He apparently said he was younger but as often is the case it was probably all a chinese whisper that had grew arms and legs..
-
Yeah I know it was more that there was rumours of his age being different to what he claimed.. Also he is the only aberdeen player to have cleared the richard donald stand/beach end with an attempted shot ....

Jeffers was amazing at rangers.. I wish they had kept him, it might have helped Aberdeen at the time haha
-
Tony (Antoine) Kombouare.. Defender in one of Aberdeen's worst teams since I can remember.. I think there was a rumour he lied about his age in order to sign for aberdeen.. he is now a manager at RC Lens.. Im not saying he was a shocking player, infact he was a cultured defender, in my view probably best as a holding midfielder but I just chuckle at the thought of pros lying about their age to get a game lol

Aye thats what I was figuring.. Picking up a lot of room noise so probably my room isnt ideal for what i do.. I'll probably invest in one as it might help a little
-
I have stuff up for sale just now for trade, not sure you would be interested though.. let me know. Btw is the Wem a bass amp that can be used for guitar? Also what kind of shape is it in? Cheers

What sort of swaps you looking for or is it cash only?
-
Does anyone use a reflection filter when recording vocals.. Just want to know if they get rid of a lot of room noise and if they are worth the cash.
Thanks in advance
