So who are the best and worst bands in abz right now?

Miss Lucid and Boak are one or the other depending on:

    1. You being Alkaline

    2. You being Milner

    3. Your opinion of E.C.

    4. Your internet status - blowing up v not blowing up

If you're not any of these things then Min Diesel are a good shout for best and Deadfire* for worst.

*only kidding whichever member of Deadfire's turn it is to hunt me down and biker me up. Relax yourself...

  2. Can't see you getting anywhere with offshore work as a sole trader, you'll have to be on a ltd company basis.

If you're planning on doing a mix of PAYE and Ltd. co work you're probably better off just using a payroll company to do it for you - tax and NI will be a nightmare if you're doing both....

If you put anything on soundcloud it might get flagged. They have some fingerprinting technology that will pick up on a sample.

Alternatively, you could pretend all your music is a clever parody, in which case you can use anything you want. I think that's right? You can use and transform work without consent if it's a commentary or parody.

We've got a tune on soundcloud with tons o' samples, been up for a year with no problems.

A lot of people slagging the council for not moving from their valutaion of the land and this clown is on twitter saying he won't budge from his. Both to blame but Brewdog aren't coming out of this looking particulary good.

Are the council to blame though? £300k seems about the going rate for land with full commercial planning. There's an acre in Drumoak going for £450k with permission to build 3 houses on it.

If nothing else Brewdog have motivated me to learn about planning permission and land costs in Aberdeenshire. Good work lads!

It is irritating to work in an open plan office when a colleague leaves on sound notifications for their computer, especially for emails.

Bash on the nose with a rolled up newspaper, it's the only language they understand...

I think people are pretty fed up with being called bigots and racists merely for saying that immigration to their countries should be cut and other "traditionally" non-racist ideas as well as voting for something seen as "right wing" - a lot of which are not even close to the "Nazi" ideals the media portrays.

In the UK it is considered racist to say that you want to cut immigration because the NHS is failing to cope, non UK taxpayers should have to more for education and healthcare , immigrants shouldn't get benefits until they've worked and paid taxes for 5 years, immigrants shouldn't be allowed to claim benefits for children abroad, people who cant speak the language shouldn't be allowed to work in the UK and that religious schools shouldn't exist.

    It's getting ridiculous

Why are right winged people so fucking scared of being called right wing?

It comes down to this: Democracy goes both ways, you cannot disregard it if it doesn't go your way, that is not democracy!

Democracy actually means that if it doesn't go your way you have the absolute right to keep trying to get it changed. Disregarding things that don't go your way is the essence of democracy.
