  1. PoO' date=' Ive seen them play better. That's all I have to say. Oh, but they didn't play the good sing-along type song which I was pissed off about-it's the only one I know.

Your very right about that we were poor that night. Whole day in the studio................excuses.

  2. Im really disapointed i missed this one! Sounds like it was a good show by some.

Shame to see that Gone to Far got stick from the crowd but thats what happens. Keep your heads up guys dont let them get to you.

And further more i would like to see a square off between G/S and B/S im thinking pistols at dawn??

  3. A few weeks back i went in there to get some new cymbols and the service i recieved was far better than anything ive recieved from b/m and r&b. I also got to take them downstairs to their practise kit and try them out to see if they were the right ones for me. The prices in there are also good i ended up a good 30 cheaper than i would of been elsewhere.

They also sell very good sticks in there which i use now. Vater i think they're called. All drummers should try them out.

A really good shop overall id say

  5. Having has a listen i have to think what gives you the right to critisise originality?

I mean i like the songs especailly the second one i like the tune its well chilled out. But its no different to what ive heard before by other artists. Im not going to critisise you for this but i want to know how you can say we are all cover bands or copycats when the music you make is the same as ive heard from countless other artists?

  6. tough luck with that night by the way, i thought the sound guys let you down a bit but your new song was rocking! Theres always next time, at least you can say you got there.

Keep up the good work you guys are doing next time im sure you'll win.

  7. Theres no suprise to see another unnessesary argument on here.

Stuartmaxwell, man there was no need for some of the shit you've said man fair enough you may not like them but theres no need to be so harsh.

At the same time REAP chill out guys. I like your shit and enjoy your performances but theres no need to go off like you did, if someone doesn't like your music leave them to it. not everyone will like REAP you have to deal with that and not get so defensive, especially here.

  8. Hey a big thanks to everyone who came last night that was a great effort.

Its a shame the no pints are calling it a day, we've played with them a few times now and they were clearly improving each time. I enjoyed their last set last night, they may not be up to everyones taste but then who is. Good luck guys with whatever you three are going to be up to musically i hope to be giging with yous in the near future.

As for Failsafe, well what do you need to say except fucking hell!! Those guys rock and had so much energy in their music and their act! Hope to see them again soon.

  9. yer i see what ya mean. thats always something ya have to be careful of in studios because it would be so easy just to say nah cant be bothered doing that take again lets just do it on the computer.

Yeh totaly but you wouldn't come away with the same satisfaction if you did them all on computers.

We obviously will be using computers to add effects and to mix the cd but we're happy with that as it will improve the sound. that part of the technology is obviously good.

  10. seriously though how can you be so arrogrant?

dont bother man. theres no point.

I agree with you i went to see brand new this year and it was clear that most of the harmonies had been done in the studio and not really by the band if you know what i mean. Im know that your studio work is suppose to be the best you can sound and obvously adding those harmonies adds a lot to the songs but i was disapointed when some of the songs sounded flat without them.

  11. You guys are all just luddites' date=' I'm sure when the electric guitar was invented there was people who said "hey now, we don't want anything to with this witchcraft".

You should educate yourselves before writing off stuff which you know nothing about.[/quote']

We're in the studio at the moment actually, and these options have been there for us and we tried them out to see what its like and the shit you can do is amazing nowadays. But we've still gone back and re-recorded it ourselves for our own satisfaction because when we do it live we want to be able to do what we do in a recording live and you couldnt do that if the harmonies were made up by a computer.
