Much appreciated.

Is there anywhere in Aberdeen that would repair a CD deck/mixer? (It's a Numark CDMix1)
Thanks

Matricarians are hoping to coax some brave souls to join us on theremin, etc We'll mostly be using singing bowls, zithers & racket-making stuff.
Sounds tempting....
Really looking forward to Sunday - it should be a good night.
[i accidentally clicked on the 'vote down' button instead of the 'quote' button on your post, and I can't seem to change it. Sorry about that, Alan.]

Keyboard player required for three-piece synth/experimental group.
Influences: Suicide, Silver Apples, Kraftwerk, Cabaret Voltaire, early Human League.
Musical ability is not essential. The group is still at the planning stage, so any input will be more than welcome. We are looking at practicing maybe once a fortnight, with the aim of playing our first gigs by the summer. NB. We are not teenagers.
[i should add that this is a side project, quite separate from Palace of Swords.]

NB. The Prog Archives guy doesn't like the Palace of Swords track.

Thanks to everyone who braved the terrible weather last night - it's very much appreciated.
[Next date yet to be confirmed, but probably March sometime. Watch this space...]

I'd quite like one of these. (It's a psychoacoustic crystal energy pyramid.)

This is tomorrow night, folks...

Well done to everyone involved in this - it was a great night.
Oh, and I should add that the Kitchen Cynics Orchestra (or Arkestra as I insist on spelling it) were quite brilliant.

Brilliant new wave/post-punk pop from the Antipodes:

I still think daemons should have been nominated seeing as it's too extreme for the moorings
Good point, actually.
The Moorings does have quite a conservative music policy in a lot of ways.

This is in the diary - I'm especially looking forward to seeing the Kitchen Cynics Orchestra.

See everyone there,

Are all anoraks acceptable or is it just certain types? Would I get in for free wearing a pac-a-mac?

Sorry, I may have cloth ears - but I think he sounds dreadful.

I'm pleased to hear that this went well. It's great to see people taking the initiative and putting on their own nights/events.
[i was in Glasgow on Friday/Saturday so couldn't make it, unfortunately. I will try to come along to the next one, though.]
