  1. Its fine dude, i dont think that anyones having a go at the bands that are on it so much as the weapon thing,

from my understanding i thought it was more than the christmas show, i thought it was quite a few shows, but i cant authenticate that statement.

meh, im just happy with the chance to play with one of my favourite bands,

  2. if you cant see why its obvious then your blinded by the fact your on the bill.

Anyway the problem is not about your band and asd getting the gig its to do with the fact they were told they could play only for the tunnels to change their mind because they didnt play any xmas gigs. No disrespect but weapon would out sell your band by about 5 to 1 on the door, have sold hundreds ot tickets for the tunnels before and are an established band on a national scale, it just doenst make good buisness sense to give it to you over them.

i can see where you comming from with the "good buisness" part, but if you were the promoter would you not be slightly annoyed that when ever you've tryed booking one band they have always said no, but as soon as a really good show come up they would jump on it,

i mean that purely as an example, as i dont doubt either partys professionalism,

My post wasn't a dig at Glass Wolves or ASD. I have no problem with either/both you guys getting the gig at all.

I just think MMW should be the main support band, and the way they've been treated by the Tunnels is a bit shoddy.

I wasnt taking it as a dig buddy, i understand why it some might think weapon should be on it, but at the same time i also dont see how people automatically assume, big band - automatically = weapon,

  3. Cant wait for this. i still dont see how mmw are the "obvious" support band for this show?

that is in no way ment as a disparaging remark towards weapon,

a band with an element of southen rock/metal would be the prime candidates,

but i cant see any "obvious" bands suited and cant see the fuss with two of aberdeens younger bands getting it?

  4. Christ, what a difference decent recordings make eh?! These tracks sound about a hundred times better than the ones you had up before.

I'm gonna fly in the face of the trend prevailing on this thread and say I think the recordings are excellent given the amount of time you knocked them out in; clear, every element clean and crisp, big chunky guitar tone..... All in all, good job and well done boys!

cheers dude, we are going to keep comming back to seagate, very happy with every aspect of the experience

  5. Its not too new like, near the bus station in dundee, we were 25 an hour, we fired both out in 4hr's

i would say the quality is greatly reduced through myspace, like through my ipod and on cd in my car they sound much better,

i would also say alot of the lower freqencys on the kick and the bass are done no justice buy myspace/laptop speakers, you only really hear the "klicky" top end of the kick,

  6. Check out the two new songs we recorded and put online today,

recorded them at seagate in dundee, highly recommend this studio to everyone,

  7. Not sure what you mean by the Epi not being chunky though. If it's the sound you are on about just change the pickups. I did this on my Epi SG and it sounds great. I A/B it with a Gibson 61 RI, and the band preferred the sound of the Epi.

I fitted a pair of Wizard pick ups. A racer, and a progression.

    Wizard Pickups

I mean chunky as in the guitar itself, the Studio and studio gothics are much thinner/lighter. it sound chunky enougth because it has an EMG81 loaded into it.

  8. For Sale as i would like a new Les Paul, i have a Epiphone Les Paul studio atm, but its just not chunky enougth, i would also consider a swap for an ESP eclipse with some money your way too,

looking for 400 for the SG, or a straight swap if i think the les paul is worth it,

SG is in the condition i bought it from the store from, havnt played it much, could possibly do with a string change,
