Polish guitars? Did you get it to order or just from guitarguitar or somewhere?  

GuitarGuitar are the official dealers of Mayones in the UK but I really don't know if you can order semi customs from them (you can order directly from Mayones themselves though). This is a semi custom model. It has ebony fretboard and sperzels combined with the cherry burst finish which I've not seen on any Setius sold through dealers. It also has the dot inlays whereas the dealer models have no inlays.

I bought it from a member on a forum I use in a trade after selling my old 7 string. He as a couple of ridiculously nice Mayones including one of the most insane spec'd Regius I've ever seen. It was shipped to me from Poland last week. Handily I now have a few guys in Poland I've dealt with successfully so I've got an eye on the gear over there

I'm really impressed with the stuff coming out of Poland though. This Mayones is the best guitar I've ever owned - hands down (as you'd expect from an instrument with their price tags!) and I've also got an amp hand made in Poland and tried Skervesen and Blackat guitars. I've also got a few friends with RAN guitars who rave about them and been offered trades made by other Polish luthiers such as Lootnick. No doubting the quality of work coming from there.

Got my Mayones yesterday. Plays amazingly well, build quality is outstanding. I can confidently say it's the nicest instrument i've ever played. Don't like the crunchlab/liquifire so it will probably be getting some BKP's in due course. It's made me want a Regius though..... time to sell a kidney.

They all have free trials. That's the best advice I can give. Try them and just keep the one you prefer. I used to used lovefilm and switched to netflix after discovering the DNS trick for accessing the US netflix which is far superior to the UK one. Lovefilm was slightly better than UK netflix for movies but US netflix wins hands down on TV shows.

Is it easy enough to get US Netflix?  Is it just a case of changing yer DNS settings?

Pretty much yes, but most of the places that do that give you 1 month free trial and then you need to pay.

Great first episode. I'm not too sure that Hank isn't aware of what Walt can be like. He did say 'it was you who killed Gus' 10 employees and bombed the nursing home' so he definitely has a clue!

Anyone have a cardboard box suitable size for a bass guitar to be posted in? I really want shot of the BTB550 and no one local wants it. I'm guessing RnB or II would maybe have some?

Also since i'll have money left over I'm picking one up these up as a project to mod. Not really a fan of reverse headstocks but at least it's not a pointy weapon thing. It will also be my first 'fender'. It's a Squier Stagemaster 7 string. It's just the backup for the Mayones.

New amp has arrived. Need to give it a proper shot with some more of my guitars but seriously good 'base' tone on both clean and drive. Could do with a bit more gain but need to experiment with my OD808 see what tones I can coax out. Need to have a go with my warpig equipped guitar too.

I may be getting a Mayones Setius soon. Definitely something I want! Waiting on one of my own guitars selling but if so I don't think I will be able to resist.

Also get a set of EMG 57/66 lined up for my 'spare' RGA121 if I get my 7 sold. Yeah I know... I hate the regular EMG's  but the 57/66 sound a lot like passives and I'm keen to give them a shot.

I've got two you can have. One is actually an Epiphone box! I live in Rosemount so give me a shout if you want them as I'll be sticking them in recycling otherwise. Kept them for posting guitars if I sold them but I now have a hardcase for every guitar I own so not needed.

No one here use rack multi fx's? Obviously I'd love an axe fx to use for its effects (which are amazing!) but considering a Digitech GSP1101 instead. My friend has one and some really nice modulation effects on it. You can also load cab sims to it too and use it for recording which I like the idea of, or of course you can use it live straight to PA.

Oh, I should be buying the Grunthell tomorrow. Here's hoping it really does grunt like hell.

I want to try one of the Fujigen guitars. Hella pricey though. I'm sure they will be worth it. Since no one here is an Ibanez fan, Fujigen is the factory in Japan where the Prestige Ibanez guitars are made and they ooze quality. They've launched their own range and some of them are stunning. Will appeal to more than just Ibanez fans for sure. Here is Andy Williams of ETID with one. I like the shape of this one, like a tele/LP hybrid. No, I have no idea what the neck profiles are like, but I'm hoping the are similar to Ibanez necks!

Speaking of my love for Ibanez necks... are there any Fenders with flatter, narrower necks? I'd love a tele but they all have round, fat necks. I've got small hands and fingers and they just aren't comfortable for me to play. I know the Jim Root tele's have more jackson style necks but other than the white one, i don't like the look of them. And they would need converted to passives as I don't like EMG's.

You're wrong, season 3 was epic. Season 8 of Dexter is good so far. Shame there are only 7 episodes left til it's all over I'm going to have nothing to watch now. The Walking Dead, Dexter and Breaking Bad are almost over. Breaking Bad is back soon too. Just under 2 weeks.

Currently watching Orange is the New Black on netflix. Not my usual thing but 5 episodes in I'm enjoying it so far.

Restringing guitars.

This is why I now solely play fixed bridges! Get yourself some sperzels and a hardtail or a guitar with a bridge like the RGA121. Makes life so much easier. The gibraltar plus bridge isn't even string thru, just slot the ball ends into the grooves. I don't like tuneomatics or stoptails much so for me this is pretty much the perfect bridge design. So comfy to play too.

WUT. I don't own a spalted maple topped guitar I used to, but it was sold! Wouldn't mind trying one of these but me no likely reverse headstocks. As soon as I find a decent replacement my 7 string is going for that exact reason!
