I can't remember the name of the bands but the guy's name is Erik. All I know is that they played grindcore and are / were based in Berlin but I don't think that they're particularly well known or anything! And thanks for the hint, I do like the pitchshifted vocals thing and will probably experiment with it on some new tracks

The vocals were recorded by this crazy guy from Berlin who sings / has sung for grindcore bands... but tbh, I can see where you're coming from with the brokenCYDE comment. Do not fear though, I don't think he wants to sing vocals on any more songs (although personally I'd like him to do so). Thanks for the comments folks, much appreciated!

(There are 13 songs, most are short 'grindcore influenced' breakcore / gabba tracks but there are a few dancecore mash-ups and eurodance remixes in there too.) I hate all bands that fall under the "crunkcore "genre"". Brokencyde are easily the worst thing that has ever happened to music.

I made that acid bass song to keep people happy at local gigs (most Aberdonians don't seem too keen on 250bpm + gabba kicks...can't understand why)

I was warned before joining this website that it packed to the brim with smart-arses. Now I can see why.

I guess it's sort of half way between a live act and a dj set (closer to a DJ set), using material created or remixed by the artist playing it. To the ignorant bystander it may perhaps look like that, but there's lots of live glitching, effects and other weird noises added live to keep things interesting.

Looking for a band or two to play @ Drummonds during Freshers week (Tuesday 22nd September). The format of the night is as follows: Doors between 8:30 and 9:00 Live bands from 9:15 - 11:30ish Laptop rave acts from 11:30 - 1:30ish, maybe later.
