  1. Hello,

Does you guitar or bass require serviced / new setup? I have repaired, serviced, changed pickups etc on many guitars and basses and my pricing structure is very competitive. I can offer advice on upgrades etc should you need it. From balancing out your Floyd Rose through to Intonation setting, I can advise you on the correct course of action for your beloved instrument.

I'm based in Aberdeen and turnaround is normally very quick but this depends on what you require.

Any questions feel free to ask.

    Thank you.

    Keith

Maybe not your thing but do you know of anyone who could have a look at my Ampeg amp? Not behaving itself.

    Cheers.

  2. I like the way you estimated your age. Were you discovered in a handbag on someone's doorstep or something?

I'm pretty sure he was estimating his years of experience, not his age! o_O

Don't think there would be many 13 year old guitarists with plenty gigging experience! I may be wrong but....

  3. Addicted to playing cool tunes that is!!

The likes of Chilis, KOL. Ocean colour scene, foo fighters etc

After the demise of the band I was in, Im looking for non ego museos to make music with, and of course to gig when ready

Reliable and dedicated would be different -- but greatly appreciated!,

aged between 25 -and to an age where you would never trust a fart or waste a hard on!

    I know youre out there.

Are you looking to do covers or originals?

  4. Hey,

    I play Bass....

I've never played with brass instruments before and would like to give it a go.

Im really into funk/soul music at the minute but am open to suggestions.

I am hoping to get together with a couple of guys i got in contact with on here to play some funk but i like meeting and jamming with different people so would defo be up for a jam with you too.

Give me a shout back if your interested.

    Cheers

  5. Bass player keen to hook up...

    Hey,

I play bass, love funk music and would love to get something started. Ive never played this style of music in a band setup before, usually rock/pop, but would love to give it a go.

Im currently listening to the likes of Parliment, Chic, Detroit Sex Machine, Graham Central Station, The Time, The Meters, The Commodores, Cold Blood, Jamiroquai, The Sound Stylistics, The New Mastersounds, Betty Davis etc etc, and more recently found out about a band called The Invisible.

If you want to hook up and maybe try something out give me a shout back.

    Cheers.

  6. i don't know what its like getting slapped in the face by the bottom string of a 5 string bass, but i wouldn't imagine it to be pleasant, i never tune up like that, too scary.

it's an aerodyne Jazz, all black. It looks gorgeous and plays pretty sweet, but there is something about my sound that isn't working for me. think ideally i'd like better pick ups, but i love that warwick round ness and growl. I have issues with all of my gear really.

Ever thought about a Musicman? I have a 5 string Stingray and it's the bomb! Very versatile bass.

What kind of amp you using? I use a Trace Elliott which i find is just as versatile as my bass. Just a thought.
