I don't get the whole reliced guitar thing. At least YoungA did his himself, buying a new guitar in a relic finish just seems mental to me. Like buying a new Mercedes, but requesting they put a dent in the bumper, the paintwork is rusting and the wing mirror has come loose before you get it.

Parks and rec season 2 is completely different. It's like chalk and cheese. I'm still enjoying it and it's what... 6 seasons in. Definitely give it another go if you can.

 

I'm the same with Samberg, he just cracks me up. I kinda feel like he needs to be given more free range in B99 - he plays the role fairly straight and I want to see some gurning and impressions, etc.

It's a Showmaster that I'd picked up for pretty cheap a while back. When I got it there were two lipstick pickups in the neck and middle which sounded mince. So I managed to get hold of a couple of the mini versions of the Burns Tri-Sonics, which I'd been wanting to try for a while, to replace them. I'm keeping the cheapo  GFS Retrotron in the bridge for now, since it sounds ok. It's really more of a standard humbucker in fancy clothing than a Filtertron replica though. But this was my first shot at soldering pickups or any modding at all really, so I'm pretty pleased with it.

I pour some hot water in to coat the inside of the pot and pour it out before I put in the grounds. I have no idea why, I just got told to it the first time I used one and I have done it since. And the water should be a bit cooler than boiling when you pour it onto the grounds. I leave it to brew while I go for a shower, which works out as the right amount of time for me.

I'd rather have scrambled eggs on toast to be honest.

Maple syrup on scrambled eggs on toast would be rank though. Eggy bread is the king of both savoury and sweet.

Yeah I've been enjoying the album, despite the band name and songs with "Yr" and "Grrrl" in the titles making me reluctant.

Just started watching Justified on Netflix.  Always liked the look of it when it was advertised on Five US.  I'm two episodes in so far and enjoying it already.

I was just about to recommend this. Really looking forward to the 5th season.
