Sixpeopleaway are really worth catching, the lad's voice is unbelievable. I'm well dissapointed that City Seemed Eager are winding up, but Friday will be a great chance to catch them before they split.

God I love Stax. Otis Redding, Sam and Dave, Booker T and the MG's, Carla Thomas and of course Isaac Hayes. It's all there.

Otis Redding? Is it not true he got into singing by accident, he was a chaffeur driving an R'n'B singer to a label, when they asked him to sing thinking he was the musician?

I don't that Foo Fighters changed their music to appeal to the masses, just that Dave Grohl forgot how to write good songs.

I wouldn't trust anyone who says Everlong isn't a fantastically brilliant song.

Havent got a problem with pop bands. Just bands that change their music that isnt naturally appealing to the masses, purely to appeal to the masses.

And they're dull. Not without the odd good song, but overall, dull, and their lyrics don't interest me at all.
