That's how I learned, i'm totally self taught (with the help of magazines of course) But there will come a stage when you should think about getting a teacher, at least for afew lessons to pick up tricks you may not learn from any magazine.

21/yo (lead) guitarist looking form/join a metal band! Been playing for around 6 years have plenty of band and live experience. I have just recently moved up to Aberdeen from Glasgow, so unfortunately had to leave my previous band. Living on King Street, and i'm dedicated and dying to get a band!
