Hey
I have 2 Satelite guitars for sale, they date around the early 70's and are famed for the Buzzcocks and other punk bands of the era buying them and using them for their signature sounds. When you hear them you'll certainly see and hear why . They are a fair bit smaller than a "normal" size guitar, kind of like a shrunken Strat with a "natural burst" finish?...if they did one like that? , would look a bit odd on the Billy Corgans and Josh Hommes of the world, however theyve been known to use the odd "Teisco" here and there and thats what i would liken the sound too.
The 2 guitars are exactly the same, the body work on them would be described as near mint!
The first one is fully strung up and in 95% full working order aside from a slightly dicky tone switch which wouldnt take much to solve, plays so well and the sound from the single coil pick-ups is either really strong or totally whimsical depending on your preference, they have 2 "jaguar" "jazzmaster" type tone switch mechanisms on each. This one ill let go for 100.
The second is more of a project, no strings as yet but everything seems in good order ( not tested the pick ups yet ), it needs maybe a set of in-line machine heads? or just a few replacement caps for the tuning pegs? they work fine though apart from that. Like i said cosmetically its very near mint. This one is 60
These are a real find in this cosmetic condition, they are normally well beaten up ( which is fine, scars are good )
Theres not much chance of you seeing another band playing one of these. Or sounding like them
Loads of photo's or email me: Mark - fertuiee@hotmail.com

Hey
1971 Univox Hi-flier for sale ( Phase 2 ..the rare type ) its been modified to the same specs as one that Kurt Cobain played...thats not why i bought it cos that would be a bit shit, it was just a bargain haha!!..as it still is. Here goes ( all mods done professionally )
Gotoh tune-o-matic fixed bridge
Seymour Duncan JB bridge pick-up ( original will be supplied and is better if im honest
Chrome Machine heads
Original P-90 neck pick up ( this is as good as you'll hear )
Original UNIVOX decal on the headstock
This type are really rare the Phase 2 version, there is a fair amount of battle scars but nowt too serious, its been retouched and re-laquered proffessionally, basically the usual for any near 50 year old. Its a real work horse though and is made of super lightweight wood and as a result the bridge pick up "screams" to put it mildly!! but you already guessed that Any how im looking for 400 for it no less, its a bargain. If youre gigging and want a guitar you wont see anyone else playing...well here it is..
I have plenty of photos so giz a mail or any further details mail me at Mark Riley : fertuiee@hotmail.com
Cheers

Washburn wi 64
Hey
I have a Washburn Wi 64 for sale, its in really good nick only a few scrapes and scratches, its like a cross between an S.G and a Les Paul, range of sounds is brilliant as it has a special tone control setting that will make it sound like a single coil, plays really well. Offers around 140 ( R.R.P 270 ) check out some reviews :

Or just put the name in on youtube and it gives you a really good demo of the guitar, its a black one with chrome humbuckers.

Ah man, cheers but its a bit metal for me..nice though
-
Oooh dunno, what sort of nick is it in?
Mark

Washburn
Nah man its not like a les Paul, its probably more between an S.G and a Junior or something...on the flip side of that i used to play Kyuss covers on it so it will take a drop-C tuning or its ok for less distorted stuff, its got this funny coil tapping ( esque ) thing that makes it sound almost like a Tele, up to you man its a cracking price cos ive looked numerous times on ebay and wherever and they dont coem up often. Its just surplus to requirements.
