  1. He's pretty under-rated, in my humble. This is one of my favorite verses. You have to sit through a minute or two of the fuck-awful Vinnie Paz grunting and growling his way through the beat, but it's dead good.

THAT TUNE IS THE MOST EPIC RAP BEAT EVER! to me anyway

has the added bonus of being based on a true story, the 2nd verse being about R.A rugged mans father who served in vietnam.

  2. Ive seen threads on other production forums/threads that have a rule where you have to give feedback on a couple of previous posts before your new addition to the thread, helps to stop the thread just being somewhere folk come to post their tracks without even listening to any others - its a good idea i think anyway - anyone else agree?

I guess im testing the waters to see if its worth starting a new thread/ changing the rules of this one..

  3. cmon there must be someone!!

to add a bit of further info, we practice at Cpt Toms weekly and we've been blasting for a fair few years(about 10 ) so we're pretty much nailing the covers to perfection at this point.

Some of the songs we cover are - Dying Fetus - 'Tearing Inside the Womb' and 'Epidemic of Hate'

                                                           Inveracity - ' Savagely Beaten'

Severe Torture - ' Meant to Suffer' and 'Mutilation of the Flesh'

There are other covers we play and some we are in the process of learning.

We're currently drums, one guitar and vox and we're in the fairly uncommon situation of having female death vox which is pretty cool! All we need is a bassist to complete the lineup to allow us to book up some gigs/start putting some of our own stuff together. Ive already got some material ready as well.

Seriously if you wanna blast some real heavy shit , the kind that can liquidise youir internal organs and then drink them through a straw , get in touch and grab yourself an instant death band !

  4. Hey, we're a Brutal Death band that do a range of covers from Dying Fetus to Severe Torture, and are aiming to get some songs of our own on the go in the near future. We are now looking for a bassist as our current one is a bit pushed for time as he has multiple projects on at the moment.

So if your a bassist (any gender, preferably 20+ as we're all early-late twenties) who can play this sort of stuff and you're interested to come along and see how it goes then let me know!

    Cheers

  5. HairyscaryMark: cheers buddy that is helpful to hear your experiences! i think we're gonna go for the train option seeing as the only organised coaches i can find are from glasgow and on the thursday and i think we just want to go down on the friday. I bet the way back will be a nightmare but for a weekend of death itl be worth the pain!! \m/

  6. Best part of my working day. Currently it's all about playing Plants VS Zombies. Only problem is our new office is on the other side of the foyer bit so anyone that seems me go and come back knows how long I was in there and probably thinks I'm enriching weapons grade plutonium.

or hayin a wunk! or was that some kind of code for that?

goin for a shit at work is like an unnofficial break with no impact on pay, and is therefore awesome.

  7. So I got Mass Effect the other day, and was really enjoying it to begin with. The design of the world and the characters is really brilliant, the RPG and element and conversations you get into as really well done and the soundtrack is fucking hilarious! The combat isn’t technically brilliant, but it’s still good fun and you get a decent variety of guns for different situations. Standard duck-and-cover shooting is something I usually like, so no problems there. My main problem with it is since I became a Spectre and am able to travel freely to various systems. You get dropped onto a planet and have to use this godawful space buggy called the Mako to explore. I’m not even that sure where I’m meant to be looking – it just says “find this person in this solar system” – and I’ve aimlessly driven around 3 planets now in this shitty fucking space buggy, fighting giant space worms with the in-built cannon. It’s really fucking shit and took over an hour of my time last night, leading me to switching it off. I can’t be assed with aimless exploring anymore, or at least I can’t be assed with it when it’s boring as fuck. I just don’t have the time.

Has anyone played through it? Is this something I will have to do throughout the game, a lot? Should I stick with it?I just want to shoot things and get awesome guns and sleep with the blue alien lady.

yeah the first one is rough around the edges and they trimmed most of the aimless exploration out for the 2nd one, (althoguh they included a planet 'mining' system to get resources which is pretty dull and time consuming but nowhere near as bad). You might be better off moving on to the 2nd one where the whole thing is more polished ..... I did get through the first game but there were a few annoying points i have to admit!

  8. The Exorcism of Emily Rose

A very good courtroom drama based on the case of a real-life exorcism. Genuinely creepy in places. 7.5/10

agreed, enjoyed this one! a bit different from the usual exorcism type fair becasue of the courtroom 'trying to prove its real' angle.

  9. I thought the mist was boring

how so? i thought it had a dawn of the dead type feel to it , but with massive insectoid creatures instead of zombies.

maybe ive just got a soft spot for monster type movies, i am part of the 'jurassic park came out when i was 9' collective!
