    There appears to be no thread about this but Johnny Flynn is playing Drummonds tomorrow (1st May)

    I can't quite decide between this and Teenage Fanclub (I'd prefer to see the fannies but its a bit on the pricy side)

    Anyone know what time Johnny Flynn will be on? Is there any local support?

    Its a Beyond Gig. Nicky Powell is supporting not sure who else

    my old band recorded live at the tunnels and the drums came out sounding amazing. some of the guitar parts came out a bit quite so we re-recorded the guiatr parts and it sounded not bad in the end. Think we just gave Scott a mini disck player.

  11. Open Mic Nights In Town

    Hi All!

    I'm up from North Lincs and working in the area till Friday 19th. I'm a drummer and wouldn't mind having a little bash if there are any open mics/jams going on with a drum kit provided. Blues :up: and rock are my faves but play anything really! Anyone know of anything?

    av bin playing batman for like a week or so now and im 25% thru the game. i was playing earlier and switched it off, so went back just now to play again but what av played so far isnt loading up, when i look in my trophys it shows 25% thru but still wont let it load. av put in other games to see if its my memory but they work fine. anyone know whats wrong?

    Oh, and Sergeant, purely because some mindless bum-monkey at NME had the audacity to declare them the 'most exciting band in Scotland.' Get out. At best,you could say they pen adequate but dated lad-rock. I say they pen a pile of baggy pish, with fake accents, stupid haircuts and truly woeful Oasis-esque posturing.

    Oh, and not a band, but PITBULL. Currently in the charts with a song about a hotel orgy. Hateful little snivelling, chubby, goateed, chauvinistic fanny bojangles.

    To be honest i wouldnt say Sergeant are anything like Oasis/Lad Rock more like The La's. usualy a good live band and there album is pretty good and seems like its selling really well.

    But i agree with you about PITBULL. i was on holiday at the end of august and there other song " i know you want me uno dos tres quatro " was playing in every bar or club you went into. Do people actually listen to this?
