Looks like Black Lips are coming to the lemon tree in November: http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/news/46514-black-lips-add-dates-get-remixed-by-diplo Should be pretty sweet
Lonely, Dear and The Little Ones are supporting. The little ones are pretty darn good - www.myspace.com/wearethelittleones Check 'lovers who uncover' Cant wait for this gig
They've got an EP in the states. Its called 'Sing Songs EP' or something and its all very much on the same lines as the single. You can get it off their myspace me thinks
Well, yeah their possibly not the most inventive or 'new' band but its just damn good indie pop. The EP was something of a grower with me, but after a few listens I love it! Really looking forward to this gig now
Anyone know if this gig is defrinately on? Their website hasns't got it on but their myspace has. I believe its supposed to be on the 1st Oct at moshulu
Also heard a awesome band from the US called tapes'n tapes are playing, as is PJ Harvey! Or at least so says the hot chip website. This is looking brill but it does clash with devendra at lemon tree. Why does that always happen!?
How many folk on here are going? I have been assured that they are immense live and this is definately a show not to miss! If you haven't heard 'Meadowlands' I recommend you give it a try.
