Like a dead guy can defend his career from the grave' date=' with what?
Lick my starfish.[/quote']
Noooow now son.
I like Zappa as much as the next guy, but facts are facts.

No one on this site can criticise Zappa as "wank"' date='[/quote']
I'm afraid he was a bit of a dick. Great musician mostly, but he really lost the plot at times.
He was also a power hungry tosser who ran his band like a 9-5.
Obviously you don't need anyone like that fronting a band, but some sort of structure would be good I'd imagine.
-
Your opinions are valid unto yourself but we're not looking for musicians who criticise fellow players.
I don't think I'd want to be in a collective where there was no quality control coming from my bandmates.
edit: Sorry, slightly critical. I gotta say though, the idea sounds generally very awesome. Best of luck! Although a bit of a Zappa figure in the proceedings could keep things moving a little more efficiently.

Aye, enquire within. 35 quid a week rent.

All demos get listened to.

What's wrong with Sting' date=' Jazz Fusion, Electric Violins and Braided Goatees?[/quote']
Aye, I got to agree that Sting and Jazz Fusion are indeed damn fine.
Still, that was a good way to use up about 15 minutes I had spare.

I very much doubt the Granite Emcees would have the same tolerance for anymetal and punk music than most of the people slating them on here have for hip hop as a whole.
It's also a bit hypocritical calling someone patronising for calling them 'twee'. No worse than deciding they're good by default.
-
Hahaha! Awesome.
Youah luggage
-
Smiling... 'course. Call that one a typo.
You booking any other bands anytime soon?
-
Aye, Staring at Strangers was excellent. Thanks for putting 'em all on chuck.

Anybody see their gig with Frank Turner last night? I was bloody blown away (although not dancing like a twat seemingly made my friends think otherwise.). Like some strange blues/alt/funk mixture.
I've never really tuned in to many modern female singer, but Gabby has the most powerful and beautiful voice I've ever heard. The guitarists were phenomenal too. It's a real shame that they were overshadowed by Frank Turner - who was still pretty fantastic, but already had a fanbase of teenyboppers who didn't do much before his set but give each other fucking piggybacks.
Can't beat 'Worse Things Happen at Sea' though. That boy Turner has some right gnarly chords tucked away.

Crazy Town cover Refused....seen it all now
This is truly awful!
Haha... that really is shit.

Half literature student and half oil yard roustabout for the summer. No loans required

I don't see why they're being credited for doing something different. They're pretty standard white boy wannabe gangster hip hop.
I'm sure someone could be arsed going into the technical details of why they are a substandard example hip hop... but until then, calling them shit will suffice.

Cloudy old bean. It's obvious you're not a fascist. Although I hope you're slightly playing devil's advocate.
I'm chuffed to see that at least everyone else's gag reflex is going berserk at the mention of the BNP. What surprises me is their agenda doesn't even hide their true intentions It starts off very fruity and important, but degenerates into unbridled racism.
Judging by their agenda, I can't see why anyone who wasn't a nazi would want to join the BNP, so Grame's point of view's pretty fucking valid.
-
I haven't read their manifesto' date=' nor do I pay much attention to their tactics. I'm not in a position to condemn them - so I'd rather stick to discussing their democractic rights[/quote']
Does your ignorance give you the right to champion them though?
You obviously see the funny side of winding people up, but you should seriously research their policies before defending the BNP in any way. Why should their human rights be protected when they are happy to shit all over other peoples'?
-
The only reason I've ever heard of Bebo is because of all the people who are allegedly dying for me to join it. My hotmail inbox is fucking bombarded with random requests for some reason.
I'm not big on meeting random internet people, so Myspace is pretty much the only worthwhile one for me. The music streaming is better than purevolume, and it's safe from viruses. Emo kids are easily ignored.

Irony?! Jeeeez...

He looks like he's straining from the weight of holding up a Les Paul
Ah, soul-less coroporate bastards lack the specializied muscles required to hoist a mighty Gibson LP.
That's why My Chemical Romance play Epiphone.

Buying a Gibson makes this guy very happy!
Meet Gibson CEO' date=' Henry Juszkiewicz...[/quote']
It's probably a good job that guy's job doesn't call for actually being able to play guitar. He looks slightly afraid of such a mighty instrument.

wow you should totally book them
who cres about the fact you dont like the music' date=' lets make money[/quote']
