Hi,
Mature Aberdeen/Stonehaven-based classic rock covers band require a drummer.
We're playing at the Stonehaven Music Festival on Friday November 8th, so need a fast-track starter!
Covers include, Thin Lizzy, Led Zep, AC/DC, Deep Purple, Eagles, ZZ Top, Neil Young, Lynyrd Skynyrd etc..
We have a practice space in Stonehaven, but are also happy to use Captain Tom's in Aberdeen.
Age not important.
PM me if interested.

Are you facebook friends with your son's girlfriend?
No, my daughter tells me all about it.

"Grrr some guy in an Audi driving like a total Pr**k right up my arse on the way 2 work this morning! Means am in even less of a hurry 2 get 2 work just 2 spite u!!"
The above statement contains mixed tense, but I'm guessing the miserable cunt was texting whilst driving, thus undermining her own argument about AudiWankers poor driving.
Hopefully, she'll die soon. Slowly and horribly.
My oldest sons girfriend (or should I say g/f?) posts her entire life, thought processes and all, on Facebook. Usually it's thinly-veiled challenges or threats at whomever she thinks has wronged her that day. example, and I quote - "Sum folk think there smart well av news for u - ur gonna meat a stiky end...." and so forth.

Try a Mooer Blade.
I have one and it's more 80's than Ferris Bueller
Pretty quite hum/buzz-wise and plenty of gain on tap.

Nope.
Hopefully it passes Paul.
(Plus, who would I sell on gear to? )

Ah, I missed the bit where you said you were intending to keep the Rat. To be honest, I had no idea what a modded Rat cost new, having bought a few standard ones at various times over the years for around 30 bucks each.

Absolutely. I bought a new one recently from maplin and it was noisy as hell. Loads of interference on my pedals and it seemed to change the sound of some of them. Stopped using it and just fixed the wire on my old broken brick of a power supply instead which is much quieter.

Hi,
The Cornish is too rich for my blood, so it looks like the Rat for me.
The Big Muff is in excellent condition, so what kind of deal are we talking about?
-
I'm interested in the Rat or the Cornish - what kind of dealie do you have in mind?
-
What pedals do you have for swappage?

I have one of these ...

Infinitely better than the pishy ones on eBay. It comes with a multi-output (5 pedals I think) daisy-chain adaptor (not normally supplids). It doesn't even take up any space on your pedalboard.

I have one of these...

I'd be all over this if I didn't......oh wait, I'm in the wrong forum, I thought you were selling a band.
