  10. This isn't massively related to the discussion of our EP, but I am a little excited so I thought I'd mention that... Steve Lamacq has chosen to feature us as his 'band of the week' tomorrow night on his BBC Radio 6 show. It is safe to say that we are all delighted about this!! If you tune in Friday (19th) night around 6pm, you will hear a track and a live telephone interview. The link below should take you to the right place... BBC - 6 Music - Steve Lamacq
  11. Hey there, It will contain 2 of our current tracks, a re-recording of a slightly older COTC song and a brand new track! We feel like the four selected tracks fit together well This will be our first official release, unlike our previous collections of demo tracks (one of which we loosely used the term EP to describe). Cheers!
  12. Whilst backstage at Rockness on Saturday, we recorded a few tracks for BBC Radio 1. The three tracks (listed below) will be played on Vic Galloway's Radio 1 show on Wednesday 17th June between 12midnight and 2am. Woo! If you miss it, you can listen again at: BBC - Radio 1 - Vic Galloway 1. Passing The Horse. 2. Tampa Am. 3. Katy Perry - Waking Up In Vegas. Cheers.
  13. Howdy, We are very happy to announce that we will be releasing our first official EP through fresh London label Kittiwake Records. For this release, we shall record four tracks with our best engineer buddy Robin Sutherland (who has worked with artists such as Stapleton, Tellison and Jacob's Stories) and then have it mastered by Dave Collins in Los Angeles. We hope you will enjoy listening to this wee collection of pop songs. From the end of August, you will be able to purchase physical copies of the EP in selected record stores, through Kittiwake's distribution website, our Big Cartel website and direct from us at our live shows. Digitally, the tracks will be available for download on Orchard. Roll on August!! We will keep you all up to date with photos from the studio, tracklisting etc... Keep in touch, Steve, Matt, Jamie and Ally. Cast Of The Capital on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads

  15. Haha yes, Craig is ace. Im sure he was trying to start some sort of chant: "cast of, the cast of, the.....". Nice thought though I have uploaded a wee highlights/promo vid onto our myspace profile and youtube. A little cheesy but it was fun to make! 16. Hey there! I'm selling my Roland TD-3 drum module. It's in perfect condition and comes with manual and power supply. (german power supply however but any standard british power bank or adapter would work, I used a maplin power bank with it). Ace sounding electric drums! 200. Cheers!
  17. Steal deal!!! 300 pounds!!!
  18. Yeah, nice one Callum! Last night was the first Exposure night I had actually been to. Awesome turn out and a great vibe Good luck with whatever you move onto.
  19. The Marionettes were utterly on fire last night! Fooking awesome gig from them. Shame I won't get to catch them again for a few months Steve.
  20. Hello there, Please help me! I am playing an acoustic show with my band at Rockness next weekend, which is to be recorded for Radio 1. There is to be no percussion, so its just going to be a few of us playing through a couple of our tunes acoustically. I really need to either buy or borrow someones acoustic bass guitar, as no electrics are allowed! If you are a kind hearted and trusting fellow, and want to help me out by lending me your bass, I would be in your debt forever! I always look after my gear and I assure you it will return in perfect condition. If it does not, I will pay for repair/replacement. On the other hand if you are willing to part with yours for a reasonable price please PM me. I dont have long left!! Thank you!! Steve.
