Hi im looking to meet other musicians to jam with with the view to starting up a band to write material, gig etc. Im not quite sure what sort of thing id want to do as id like to get ideas together once a find a few people. So ill just list a few of the things im into; Radiohead mars volta Martin grech sigur ros There will be blood ost The fountain(soundtrack) mogwai interpol miles davis Itd be cool to find some vilon, cello players etc or any other kind of instruments really aswel as the normail drums, bass, guitar. Hey man id be interested in starting something, im into a similar style of music as some of the bands youi've listed above, especially sigur ros. I play guitar and am learning keyboard at the moment. I have reasonable equipment. No peda;ls though, which might prove to be a pain in the ass.

Hi im moving back up to aberdeen next week, im looking to start up a band. Im a guitarist ,im 20 years old. I dont have any ideas on influences as such, but ill list some of the bands im into; radiohead, interpol, martin grech yeah yeah yeahs, the strokes, arcade fire, deftones, the cribs, at the drive-in, mars volta. no point in listing any,ore really. Id be vocals( a vocalist with a good range would be great one that can hit those high notes!), drums, bass and most likely another guitarist.Open to male or female. Thanks.

im actually looking to be in a band writing originals, i mean i like pink floyd alot just dont think id last in a cover band, which obviously wodnt be fair on you.

im 19, ive got loads of different inlfluences, the strokes, the smiths, the mars volta, radiohead, at the drive-in , ramones, i also like led zeppelin, back sabbath and pink floyd like yourself. Its all a bit random.

sorry for the late reply, id be up for alot of different styles, i noticed you liked punk on your profile, i like alot of punk music, i also like alot of garage rock bands, the strokes, the stooges. Bands like radiohead, mars volta. So alot of different things but im not set on anything in particular, it'd be cool just to meet up and see what happens. so if both you guys wanna meet up and have a jam or just a chat abotu what we could do then id be up for that.
