Check out these guys: DEAD IDENTITES playing an upcoming GFN? Club Night - 18th June at the Tunnels!
" ...incredibly well put together songs, every nook and cranny has been seen to with rampant youthful lust, Hangin' Around' must rank amongst the most perfect summer punk anthems that The Wildhearts never recorded, with a chorus that would make Mick Jones nostalgic for the days when he knocked out tunes with a temerity that seems to have passed to these guys somewhere along the way." - SLEAZEGRINDER.

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I've managed to half the file size of each page in the hope it will now load a bit quicker. I've also added a Home button on the bottom right of each page, bringin you back to the splash/intro screen. Regards your other points, I do agree with them but the webspace/online software I'm using is free for this (GFN? is non-profit) and is flash based only... and seeing as the zine is primarly paper based I'm hoping this isn't too big an issue.
Thanks again, much appreciated, let us know if it loads any quicker! I've yet to compress the first zine...

I checked out State Of Affairs on myspace - what the fuck is that? Is this the same band we (quik) played with a few years ago in Dr Drakes?
Ye man, the bill i think was:
9/1/04: Quik, Tearjerk, State of Affairs, Broken Sunshine @ DR DRAKES
They have changed sound-wise a bit since then I think but not much, I think they're ace!

Feelin' kinda bad, but I've decided to go see Roy Harper at The Lemon Tree instead. My only disappointment is not seeing The Hijacks, but hey, I'm sure I'll have lots more opportunities to do so. Have a great show folks.
Yeah not to worry David, we've got quite a few gigs coming up
Stage times are looking like this:
THE HIJACKS: 8:00-8:30
ROOT SYSTEM: 8:45-9:15
THE HOSTILES: 9:30-10:00
FANDANGLE: 10:15-11:00

Hah, ace me 2, looking forward to hearing you guys...
Can't wait to play again Kriky boy!

Unfortunately Crashdown have pulled out, so we'l just keep it a 3 band bill and a bit more spread out, probably having the clubnight start a little earlier...
-
As you can see from the poster this is our first ever club night, and we really want to make it a success...so if ure into punk/ska/reggae/oi etc. come along and help strengthen the scene here. We'l have stalls with the gfn? distro/zine's + local bands merch, from Onion Terror to Filthpact and much more. Also we'l have a cd swap box and there will be quite a few drink promo's on. The Club night will continue late after the bands with DJs Kirk and G (whose been sourcing loads of brand new material from up and coming bands around the US/UK to play to u at this gig) so get on down!! 8-)

Everyone can come to this instead!!
p.s apologies for the thread hijack, but since it's cancelled...
