  1. And I was wondering if you lot can help me.

I have never played the guitar before but I want to learn. I'll be playing punk/hardcore stuff and was wondering if you lot can advise me.

I'm looking to spend as little as possible, I was hoping for 50 on a second had guitar and 50 on an amp. Is this realistic or an I gonna have to spend some more?

  2. I am a dowhill mountain biker and wear a Fox Tracer motorcross helmet (Because it offers good protection at a cheap price and fits me correctly) when ever I am on my bike, but I am also a snowboarder and never wear a helmet, within the biking comunity people who ride with out helmets are seriously frowned upon which is not the case in snowboarding. It used to be that you would be mocked for wearing a helmet, now it is acceptable either way and can see it going the same way as biking.

I will be buying a helmet for snowboarding this year and I will not be going for the one that looks the best but the one that fits the best

  3. I really do not think it is a good idea at all, there will always be mistakes and who in this world has the right to decide if someone should die or not? Obviously the person who commited the crime made this desision but does that make it right for a judge to do the same? In my eyes no.

  4. Whilst I'd love to see Cave In' date=' I can't afford any more gigs! At the mo' I have tix for:

    Beecher

    Sick of it All

    Corrosion of Conformity/Clutch

    God Forbid

    The Darkness

    Little Britain

    Boosh

    No more![/quote']

Where did you get the sick of it all tickets? And where are you going to see CoC/Clutch? the glasgow gig is only clutch

  5. The Unseen are the confirmed support for SOIA.

    Amazing.

Saw the unseen recently with flogging molly, they were very good.

Cant wait for this now, it gonna be top class. Never been to king tuts but a small venue is always good.

    Taken from their website

This time around, we're going to make sure to put a cool bill together, and book the shows into the right venues. The posters won't have our floating heads on them, either. Our new album won't be out until Spring, so we won't have that big record company push, but we're counting on our friends in the UK to come out and make this a memorable tour. Small venues and intimate atmospheres aren't something we can usually promise when we tour, but with the exception of London, that's how this one is shaping up. Hope to see you there!

    :D

  6. Aye, it was a top gig indeed.

The dead pets were awesome, didn't play anything of the first album though and no Head banging!! I was gutted.

Flogging molly were also awesome, as expected.

What about the local support though? Its gigs like these that can get the local bands known by the public and such like so why wasn't there one?

  7. If I was to drive down and back up that night from aberdeen would anyone be up for sharing the petol money? If I get 3 other people it would only be about 7 each and I would take you right to the door (There is free parking very close to the garage at that time of night)
