    Iv played the D.S. but not the psp. I was underwhelmed my the D.S., but have decided to buy one thanks to a nice price point, backwards compatibility, lots of software support, and a new instalment of Wario Ware!

    The PSP screen looks amazing, but the main hurdle for it to overcome will be the glut of generic games being developed for it, and shoddy ps2 ports, and a supposedly poor battery life.

    Only time will tell.........

    NO WAY!!!! NO UPDATE DISC and' date=' yes, we will be using raders!!!

    You know you need a fully updated versh, with updated players and teams, correct stadium names and, most importantly, the mighty Dons team! On a sad side note, I updated everything myself - Don't have no update disk!

    A radar is mandatory in Pro Evo 4! Ye cannae switch the bloody thing off!

    Aye, the best you can get is a transparent effort. I wasn't sure if that was an xbox only feature, or ont' ps2 as well.

    I take it everyone knows about the unlimited goals cheat... something like pressing start exactly when the ball goes over the line in a replay and it starts the replay again with another goal on your scoreboard. I've not tried it yet because i couldn't bear the strain of cheating with perfection.

    Thats nae fair! When I was at uni there was no splendid societies like this. This is the first worthwhile society I have ever heard about. Good work!

    But they are both full price games, and if pro evo was nothing more than an update, surely a 20 buck add on disc would have done the trick.

    Pro Evo is the best game ever. I felt somewhat let down with San Andreas. Many missions are just annoying' date=' and so many of the themes for stories are lifted straight from Vice City. Don't get me wrong, it's a great game, but it's not the best ever made, like it was billed.

    Anyway, It took me as long to complete San Andreas as it has to input THE ENTIRE FRICKIN' ABERDEEN SQUAD into Pro Evo 4! Creating the ADT sponsor alone took me two whole days to complete! It's been worth it though - There is nothing more pleasing than playing the game with your own home team! And they play in my formation! With my starting 11! It really does enhance your enjoyment (if you support a particular team that is.)

    Skill level 6 is a worthy addition to the game as well, as it makes it SO hard to scor3e and even get through the PS2's watertight defence!

    San andreas was def the best game of last year for me. No other game has it's ambition, scope and freedom. Okay, it may have some overlap with vice city, but surely that does not matter, especially as you are championing the 'updated' pro evo 4, which has even less to distinguish itself from its prequel?

    Any of you guys played a game called amplitude??? It's a quirky music game where you are flying down a tunnel and shoot little circles which represent different instruments in each of the songs. The idea is to keep all the tracks going at the same time. It's a hidden gem of a game and not very widely available now. I managed to get my copy of the sony website for a tenner just before christmas, but it's sadly out of stock now.

    I also reccomend the war of the monsters game. It's like a b movie where you get to destroy the cities. Also a tenner!!!
