Cheers, the Mixolydian seems to work quite well, if you've never heard this before does that mean you've never seen Ren and Stimpy?
-
This lot seem better priced, I might get one fer my project http://guitardecals.co.uk/
-
You could probably get decals from somewhere, probably a better idea, less work.
-
I have the chords down, they are indeed a blues progression, just Jazzy versions of the chords, with numbers attached. It's the solo bits I was wondering about, thanks

You need a dremel with a router attachment, and a jewellers saw to cut the Pearl or whatever your using to shape. Best to get a radius block aswell, sand the fretboard then mix the dust with epoxy to glue the bits in with, that'll match the colour, is it a rosewood fretboard?
-
I've only heard of one of the bands you listed, but if it's big fat fuzzy downtuned riffs then I'm interested. I'm a guitarist as well, but I should have my Baritone project finished in a couple of weeks, I can tune that down to A.
-
Can any Jazz players on here tell me what scale the Ren and Stimpy theme is based around? I'm tring to learn it, but I'm too lazy to learn all the solo bits note for note, plus that's not what Jazz improv is about is it?

The theme music from Ren and Stimpy, with a loop pedal

I like BB Kings, whenever I see a photo of BB King, he's barring the top two strings. I think he's the only one without an open string in sight though.
-
I've got a maholo one. Finished in natural wood. Bought in from red cow in York on a wee holiday never playeditnonce. Comes with padded gig bag and I think it's got a set of spare strings.
I paid 50 so make me an offer.
Bad idea to call people nonce if you want them to give you money

I think it has legs.

I'm interested in not being interested in this, I have some blank tapes we could not record anything on.
-
Quite like the track, reminds me of Primus, which is good. But that picture is Awesome, took me a little while to realise what it was.
-
why not?

Doctor Q nano's are good, mine is quite nice, but it needed a little tweaking to get it working right. I build fx boxes, could maybe sell you one.
-
I like this.

Those big hosepipe-esque bass strings probably require a bit more strength to press down than puny guitar strings, so my gammy ring finger may suffer even more, unless I just do a bit of Mark Hoppus follow-the-chord bassing.
Instruments are a waste of time. I'm going to start a rap group.
Buy/make a slide and put it on your gammy ring finger, problem solved.

There's a thread on here that I thought would be an awesome name for a band, I only do riffs, big fat fuzzy riffs. Who's with me?
)
I need drums mainly, bass would be good, but I tuned the low E on my guitar down to G, it sounds disgusting (in a good way)
I have one song, it's called love disease, it only has one verse.

Surf Green!
Been getting back into the DIY guitar shit recently, just built 2 FX boxes from here http://tagboardeffects.blogspot.co.uk/2012/01/bigfoot-fx-magnavibe.html
They sound awesome, and that magnavibe sells for $200 only from the US, saved myself a good few dollars there. I pulled an old tape player to bits for components, planning on putting an amp circuit in it and turning it into a little practice amp.

I'm interested

Tesco is in Danestone not Bridge of Don.
What's that got to do with cock rings?
-
BoD does have a centre, it's called "Asda"
-
Is it set in Torry?
No it was somewhere in England, there was a woman walking around a park, putting little flags in all the poop she could find.

There's a programme about dogshit on TV just now.

Is crabcore not just what I would call 'metal', but defined by the stance adopted while they play their guitars? I don't think that should count as a genre, how do I know they were standing like that while they were in the studio? I could be listening to goodposturecore and not know it.
