you know that they're currently redoing Life the universe and everything on the bbc radio? I catch it on the saved files. I think it's actually on Radio 4 on Thurs at 11pm. i THINK. So i did laughing to it in college whle everyone around me thinks im nuts. how i adore Douglas Adams
*sighs* i only wanted to know what the music scene is like up in Aberdeen....I wasn't expecting a huge bitchfest. I'll know where to come if I want to spend all my time being closed minded about other people's opinions about music n slag them off. Can't people just agree to disagree? to be terribly cliche Yes, I admit there are a lot of bands I dont like. But at the same time there will be bands that I like that other people hate. It's to be expected. Instead people take everything personally, they get to emotionally involved in the debate and cant detach themselves. Can't you just accept that you're opinions of music differ? In things like this there are no 'right' or 'wrong' answers. Anyone who states 'you're either with us or against us' immediately gets 'well Im against you' from me. They forget the grey area and are so closeminded that I simply don't want to be one of them. It goes on principle. Why not just let the matter drop. Cos this arguement is getting old and has NOTHING to do with the original posting. I suggest that if you want to continue this slagoff fest that you do it elsewhere on another post.
i regret this post thoroughly.....you were right...i apologise. people are getting way to worked up about this. I gather that this is a longstanding arguement/bitchfest what has been going on for sometime.....again.....sorry.... you must be a prophet or something....magical...
oh, those that enjoy mocking emo may enjoy this. http://www.no-nothingrock.com/articles/emoabc/ however, if you are emo inclined, or have emo sympathies, in the interests of keeping the peace, dont look
i hate it when people put 'right' in the middle of talking when they're telling you a story. eg 'I was walking down the street right, and then there was this dog right....' I tend to say 'left' after everytime they say right....they dont like that
