  1. As wel as finding the video amazing I actually really love this song too, thanks for sharing. I clicked on a a couple of other flight facilities tracks at random but they didn't sound as good, would you recommend any in particular?

I don't really know too much about them.  It was this more chilled out track that first piqued my interest in them, I can't even remember how I stumbled across it:

Much the same as you a few clicks led me on to 'I Didn't Believe' which is their best tune IMHO.  I did notice they've popped up on the Coachella lineup this year so i'm hoping for a lot more.

  2. Swansea look totally lost this season, they were all over the place against Spurs last week. Could it be that Brendan Rogers really do a good job there and last season was just a continuation of what they'd done under him and now that influence has waned they're falling apart? Shiiiiit.

Swansea remind me of Newcastle last season.  I don't think most fans appreciate how much the europa league depletes a team.

Remember Newcastle were one place and one point outside the relegation zone with two games to go last season?!  Now with the same team (plus Remy) they're comfortable top half and only 7 points off top four. Mental.

  3. I can vouch for the quality of service here: http://www.thewashbay.co.uk/

However, I don't know how that stacks up price wise alongside other similar places in Aberdeen. I'd be interested to hear (read) the answer to the question too, though, particularly any mobile companies that come and valet cars in a work car park.

I've heard good things about them as well, also heard good things about http://www.aberdeenautovalet.co.uk/80100/contact.php but again no prices seem to be listed.

Did you use thewashbay?  If so how much were they?

  4. Great day of football yesterday. The game at the Emirates was bonkers. Kompany getting sent off for a two-footer AGAIN. When will he learn. Just don't do it, ever? If you don't do it, you won't get sent off for it.

Disagree with you about Kompany, hard but fair one footed tackle. Clearly won the ball and was very unlucky to be sent off.

  5. Just finished Max Payne 3, picked it up for a tenner a while ago. Not a bad game but certainly not great, no complaints for a tenner though. Also gave Limbo a shot when it was on offer recently. Decent puzzle\platform type game but the lack of any narrative was a bit disappointing IMHO I think the game would have been even better with a story to follow.

Currently multiplayer games are Black Ops 2 and Daytona USA (bargain at 400 MS Points). Black Ops 2 has grown on me after a shaky start, finally settled on a couple of guns I like and the lag issues seem to have all but disappeared for me now.

Restarted Skyrim again. Last playthrough was a wood elf allied to the Stromcloaks, this time i'm a Breton and i'll go with the Imperials. Probably concentrate on One Handed and Magic, my Wood Elf was mainly Sneak and Archery sided with very little Magic. I was hoping they would have combined all the DLC into a pack for Christmas but unfortunately nothing so far.

There's a few deals on in the run up to Christmas so I've been splashing out. Picked up the new Hitman for £20 at game online, Saints Row 3 is £15 from amazon and Dead Rising is a £10. Looking to get the Walking Dead at some point but i'll probably wait until the package up all the episodes and sell them together, hopefully it'll work out cheaper.

What's everyone else thinking of buying for Christmas?

  6. I went to La Bonne Bistro the other day with my mum for some lunch. it was sadly disappointing.

first of all, when we walked in we waited at the door to be approached by a waitress. 1 was clearing a table and looked up and smiled at us, but then went back to clearing the table. we weren't sure if we should just walk in and sit anywhere. the waitress looked up again. still nothing. then a different waitress came round from the bar and said we could just sit anywhere. once seated, we ordered drinks. my mum ordered a lemonade. she was given a sprite. this is not lemonade and is 40p more than the lemonade listed, but she wasn't given an explanation or apology e.g "sorry, we're out of lemonade, is a sprite ok?".

not wanting to cause a fuss, we just ordered our lunch. I went for a smoked salmon open sandwich with fennel remoulade. it was pretty good but the sourdough bread was a bit tough and it was listed as being served with their homemade coleslaw. i got two slices of bread and a thimble of coleslaw. bit disappointing for £8.

my mum got a grilled chicken sandwich which was decent and served with fries and salad. I think for £9 it was pretty expensive but it was tasty enough.

so the food wasn't great for the price and the service was a bit poor.

Whoa whoa whoa. Sprite isn't classed as lemonade?

Was in La Bonne Bistro a few months ago and I have to agree with you regarding the food, it wasn't bad, just a bit meh. Won't be rushing back.

  7. Best tip is slow down, don't run straight towards the middle of a firefight.

If you've got time, spot (back button on xbox) snipers, tanks, planes and helicopters. It makes it easier for engineers and vehicles to take them out for you.

Use your class! If you're assault then drop medpacks and revive people. If you're support then spit out ammo every chance you get. It's free points! Engineers need to repair or destroy armour. Killing infantry should be secondary for them.

If you can't get into the vehicle you want go and play the objectives, there'll be another chance to get a vehicle next time you die.

Play the objectives! You're not there to kill people you're there to capture flags and destroy/defend MCOMs.

Ignore K/D ratio and accuracy (if playing support) stats. Points are all that matter. You get 100 points for a kill but you also get 50 points for suppression kills and 20 points for every squad member you resupply. Plus you get loads of points for completing team objectives and getting ribbons (multiple vehicle kills in a match, multiple resupplies in a match etc.) as well.

If you can't fly a transport helicopter then don't jump in the pilot's seat at the start of a match and fly 5 of your teammates into the side of a mountain. Learn to fly in an attack chopper on caspian border where you've got all the space in the world.

    Some good info here. Thanks.

  8. Very disappointed with MW3. Very frustrating game in multiplayer, spawns are badly broken and I can't say I'm over enamoured with any of the new maps. If anything I would say the multiplayer is a step back from Black Ops, in looks and design.

I'm getting Battlefield 3 for Christmas, will be my first Battlefield game. Bit concerned with the size of the maps and the amount of teamwork required (I only use my headset when I'm partied up with people I know) but quite looking forward to it. Anyone got any tips for a BF n00b? I've been told 'spotting' (?) is essential?
