  1. I use the trial version of "AudioRight Converter" (v2.0) which will happily convert whole songs. Only drawback with it being the trial version is that you can only convert 4 songs simultaneously, but unless you want to convert hundreds of files that isn`t much of a problem. I`d definitely recommend it.

  2. Leprechauns' date=' horses running around council estates, toothless simpletons with eyebrows on their cheeks, badly tarmaced drives, men in platform shoes being arrested for bombings and Beamish. Dare's more ti Oireland dan dis.[/quote']

Being part Irish I suppose I should probably say blah blah racist blah blah ignorance blah-dee-blah stereotype blah blah (despite the fact that I am not offended at all and even sniggered slightly when I read this).

  3. Snipped from BBC News:

Co-creator Stone said Hayes would be released from his contract and

had the best wishes of the South Park team.

Stone said: "In 10 years and over 150 episodes of South Park, Isaac

never had a problem with the show making fun of Christians, Muslim,

    Mormons or Jews.

"He got a sudden case of religious sensitivity when it was his

    religion featured on the show."

  4. I would say Keeper 1 is a must have too, for "A Tale That Wasn`t Right" if nothing else. I`ve got a pretty good collection of Helloween vinyl including picture discs, shaped picture discs and limited edition coloured vinyl stuff.

Youthgonewild, are you referring to Keeper 1 as the first one or the mini-lp with Kai on vocals?

I`d recommend "Live In The U.K." too, some of which was recorded in Scotland.

  5. I bought one of them and was so impressed with it that I bought one each for all my family. Good fun, good exercise and good for folk who have Repetitive Strain Injury, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and stuff.

Managed to get mine up to 12,117 rpm.

Oh, yeah, make sure you get the one with the rev counter otherwise . I got the Neon one that lights up when it reaches about 1,000 rpm but apparently they are a little harder to get up to speed than the non-lighty-up eens.

  6. Radiohead - Just. More thought-provoking than watching the end of "The Italian Job" and being asked to define the word "is" at the same time, whilst hanging one-handed from a cliff-edge with a huge bag of money in the other hand...and an incredibly itchy sphincter.

Ash - Burn, Baby, Burn. for umm... artistic merit or something. Can`t help watching when it comes on anyway.

  7. I can`t help thinking of the Simpsons episode "Homer The Vigilante"

Moe, Homer, McAllister, and Skinner all check out their own shotguns in

    the Simpson home.

Marge: I don't think the guns are a good idea.

Homer: Marge! We're responsible adults. And --

    Moe: [shoots] Whoops.

Homer: And if a group of responsible adults can't handle firearms

    in a responsible way --

    McAllister: [shoots] Sorry.

    Skinner: [shoots] Uh oh.

    Moe: [shoots] Me again.

    Bart: [shoots] Sorry.

  8. Des will take a bit of getting used to. He`ll settle in though I reckon.

Edmonds on the other hand? Anyone else think that was utter pish?

Their "brilliant concept" seems awfy similar to a Des O`Connor thing where you picked a box and he offers to buy it off you. Except Noel drags it out for 45 minutes and every commercial break is a Tarrant-esque cliffhanger moment.

Oi ! Edmonds ! NOOOOOOOOO !!! Surely the degree of success a game show contestant has should depend somewhat on intelligence, knowledge or some other kind of ability other than picking some numbers then saying "Yes" or "No". If picking numbers and winning money for it was entertaining they`d make a tv programme out of the national bloody lottery....

    Errr.....
