That's actually kinda cool chairlie boy, good work:up:
-
I like it. It's catchy stuff

I would definately be up for this. I'm 19 & have been playing just over 5 years now. I'm free most evenings and am quite flexible. I haven't taught anyone formally, but I have given lesson to my little brother and to friends who have taken up the instrument. I think my friend (who's in my band) works for you guys already? Scott Thompson? Ask him and he'll give me a reference

sorry for the delay guys, Iv had a heap of crap to deal with recently hence the delay,
Never been in a band before so iv not a clue what to do now! Any experienced ish band members suggest anything??
Meet up somewhere for a intro sesh? or just go jam and hope for the best??
To all of you interested, if you like, we can have a little flat jam at my place? See what ideas everyone has, and basically just get the banter for an hour or two, to get us all aquainted as well? PM me if any of you are into that idea.

so any news on this? I'm still interested in giving the guitar spot a go.

Ferne Cotton is lookin' pretty fine these days
-
I'd be up for giving it a go. I've wanted to try this a few times but didn't get much response

I had a listen, it's quite decent actually. I'm not a massive fan of this sort of music, so I'm prolly not best suited to comment, but from what I heard it sounds decent. Good luck with the gigs and stuff

I agree with the general opinion, the comments section is good for seeing feedback on your gigs, bands you put on etc, as well as letting other promoters/bands post their own gigs which might appeal to your audience.
Still think it's a bit pointless mate. The bands' personal myspaces are more suitable for recieving comments, and the guys is just using it for booking bands....
-
is black now a chiche?
I think it looks reallly cool man better than seeing the same layout for every single page I'd agree the comments bit is not essenctial, most of the comments people get now a days are gig posters and adverts for their band/company ect so no big loss there.
i know you do, but ignore the twats on here man, dont even amuse them by responding.
Ive been told that a myspace site is now more important than an official web site so why not make it look as cool as possible?
Well said
-
And isn't the old black background a bit of a cliche?
I prefer Myspaces where I can actually comment to people
But isn't the point of that myspace to message these guys if you're looking for a gig? There are plenty other myspaces where you can leave pointless comments and idle banter.....

Chris is fuckin' awesome too dude, but I'm still saying Marty all the way.
Marty > Jason > Chris
All = Awesome though
-
Hmm, tough call dude, but for me it has to be Marty! He's my favourite Guitar player! Jason is an amazing musician, and I loved his playing, but Marty has more original style, and better phrasing. Both of them are outstanding though! They made the best Guitar duo ever as well! Mon the Cacophony!

I had a blast through two of the tunes. They're not bad I'd say, simple but catchy.

I woulda loved to man, but I got my own band to focus on just now. If you can sing at all, we need a vocalist?
Myspace: Dragstrip Ragdolls Myspace

Tough. For me it'd have to be between:
Hardcore Superstar - S/T
BuckCherry - 15
But I think BuckCherry might just clinch it

Awesome man. I like your style. I love all of those bands.
-
can I suggest you contact "Youthgonewild". I know he's looking for a singer for his band - 80's rock type of stuff.
What he said, hehe. But yeah, check out the myspace: Dragstrip Ragdolls Myspace
Check out the tune there and tell me if you're interested

Personally, I love the style of music Estrella play. I love all the bands everyone on here would hate, and dismiss and mindless pish: Motley Crue, Poison, Faster Pussycat, Warrant etc etc etc. But I'm not really much of a fan of Estrella. I mean from what I can gather, they're lovely blokes and they can all play their instruments well, I just don't think much of their tunes, they're fairly bland an generic? My two cents anyway.

Has anybody ever heard of any band in the history of music whose careers benefited from winning one of these scam competitions?
*Cough* Europe *Cough*

Personally I'm as happy as larry.
*Adopts Peter Kay's Bolton accent* Who is this Larry we can compare oursevles to? That he's so happy?
-
We just put together a bit of a mini demo type thing at the weekend. We still don't have a vocalist so it's just: 2 Guitars/ Bass/ Drums. Still, would like to get some opinions on what we're doing, so give it a listen and tell us what you think!

Cheers, Andy
P.S. If you know any singers who'd be interested in completing the line-up, give us a shout!

Still like the classics like first two Terminators. True Lies is awesome as well, as is Eraser.

*Recoils and gasps for air* how could you say that about WASP......
Ek they ain't pickin' on you because you're a metal head, they're pickin' on you because you're a spoon...
P.S. I actually love WASP's early albums

That is absolutely vile... I mean I understand animals are killed for food & other resources, but the way these creatures are being killed is just disgusting.. Is it really necessary to let them suffocate and writhe in pain before dying? Why not just give it one good clean blow, so it at least won't suffer? I can't even put into words how fuckin' appauled I am....
