Yes download a patch which will allow 100 concurrent connections, instead of the default 10 enabled by Service Pack 2.

WARNING - YOU NEED TO HAVE SP2 INSTALLED BEFORE YOU DO THIS.

1] Download the patch here, by right clicking and saving it to the root directory of your boot drive (eg. C:\)

2] Goto START > RUN and type CMD then press RETURN

3] A command console will appear, so type expand -r c:\tcpip.sy_ and press RETURN

4] Type xcopy c:\tcpip.sys c:\windows\ and press RETURN

5] Type xcopy c:\tcpip.sys c:\windows\system32 and press RETURN

6] Reboot to enjoy 100 concurrent connections instead of the 10 defined by Service Pack 2

robbing a bank is ever so slightly illegal and can have negative side effects if the perpetrator is caught.... in the 419 scam the scamee is under the impression he is going to receive some unclaimed fortune that will otherwise end up in the banks coffers... (hence the attraction)

the sums that are going to supposedly going to change hands run into ridiculous sums such as hundreds of thousands or millions....i don't think anybody ever sold a second hand pc for that kinda money...

The reply address is a yahoo account. If Yahoo shut it down, no-one else can get conned. They'll then use another address, which will also get shut down if everyone complained.

Most ISP's give you free webspace. You can upload anything you like to this webspace (subject to t&c). Just give the URL to people you want to give access to and no-one else.

The easiest way to stop this is to not subscribe your email address to newsgroups and foreign mailing lists or advertisers and delete the email as soon as you open it. Do not forward it on. Report the email to abuse@yahoo.co.uk

If you're not using Media Player 10, download it from Microsoft Update. Try googling "K-Lite Codec pack", downloading and installing it... then reboot.

If that doesn't work try switching it off and back on again.

To see what filetype it is, look at the file extension. If there isn't one:

1] Click MY COMPUTER

2] From the menubar TOOLS > FOLDER OPTIONS

3] Click the VIEW tab at the top

4] Untick the box HIDE EXTENSIONS FOR KNOWN FILE-TYPES

5] Click OK

6] Go back the the folder with your video in it and press the F5 key to refresh.

This will show all file extensions from now on.
